I DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT I NEEDED

I did not receive what I really wanted: an address for my nephew who has not communicated with me for 10 years.
The NeighborWho plan is now only 7 day trial -- not 30 days as stated above.
The day after selecting the plan I tried to cancel out of an abundance of caution. INCREDIBLY the company wants $21+ to cancel immediately. WTF?
I had already written down the support email and CS phone number when I started the plan.
Notice the great reviews (not). Does the company and its personnel have NO pride of ownership? It probably isn't worth asking them since I am sure they are so lame they don't care to be ethical and honest.
Bye bye!

Hi Marcia,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
We are sorry to hear that you weren't able to locate the information you are looking for.

The information in our reports comes from aggregated public records and publicly available data. Property sales data can come from the municipal office responsible for recording real estate transactions in the area. Parcel information may come from county records. The report may also contain tax assessment, mortgage data, and much more. We are dependent upon the data that has been made digitally available by county records and other public sources.

If we are missing data on a property, please know that we are constantly updating and expanding our database to provide the most accurate and comprehensive reports we can.

If you are seeing no results for your property search, please first check to see that you have entered the address correctly. If you were trying to search an apartment or suite, please try searching without the apartment number to return any data we have about the building. If we do not have any results for a property, we do not currently have any data for the address you searched. We are continuously adding to our database to be able to return data on more properties and improve the information we provide.

Nonetheless, please be assured that your account was canceled and you will no longer be billed moving forward.

If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@NeighborWho.com.

Scam - AVOID

My mother clicked to look at something in her neighborhood and was initially charged $1.00 on September 13, 2025. She didn't notice that they immediately started charging her $44.86 a month. $315.02 later, I caught it. They hid behind their T&Cs. It's a scam. Everyone knows scammers charge a small amount to see if you notice (i.e. $1), then hit harder. Customer Service was not helpful. Avoid this at all costs. In fact, the whole thing should be shut down.

This is a scam

This is a scam, I have reported it to the police, the better business bureau as well as my credit card company. How they managed to charge my account for the past 3 years is beyond me. I have never been interested in a property nor have i tired to purchase a property in the USA. At no point did i agree to a monthly charge, at no point did i give my info. What is also fishy is if you call them the first option is "would you like to cancel your account". The website is fishy. I dont even have an account i can log into to cancel the "subscription"

Firstly, don’t waste time or money

Firstly, those five star reviews were probably the owners of the company’s cousins. The information I received was horrendously a hot mess. It was inaccurate, it was wrong, not up to date. In fact I distinctly asked for certain dates and they only went up to 2009. The rep tried to make me feel I didn’t understand. Plus, I’m not even sure if I was chatting with a real person. Supposedly, I was told I was sent over to a human. Their Al was so brutal it couldn’t understand anything. I asked for a second tier person and they were not available.
So, their customer service is untrained. Their customer service is taught to say I apologize but then that could be their only English. The person I spoke to gave me I apologize 4 times.
Second, the info I did read does not coincide with their so called site information presented, false advertising.
Thirdly, they are just a bunch of scammers who I bet, and I am a betting person, that they are a bunch of scamming thieves. They better not bill me.
Fourthly, I am going to send snail mail to GA’s attorney general. They need to be shut down. They are awful. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! But don’t listen to me. Read their reviews. The retorts from the company probably generated from a top notch AI program. I am going to see who owns this mess.

opportunistic SCAMMERS

This company is a huge opportunistic scam. They need to be shut down. I never agreed to ANY payment whatsoever and they are charging me 89$ per month. Now I have to waste my whole day fighting charges I didn’t even approve or know about. Total jerks.

Update - this company tries to absolve itself of any wrong doing by constantly responding with “we would be happy to look into this for you” BS. As per your suggestion, NeighborWho, I have
“reached out” many many times to try getting to the bottom of this scam. Not only do you have me going in circles,
conveniently, but your customer service agents are not trained. They are reading from a script so as to avoid any direct communication regarding an actual issue. I feel bad for all your employees, and again - if anyone is reading this - AVOID NEIGHBORWHO

paid $5.00 for the free trial thinking I could get a list of owners for a historical property in VA built in 1899. The original owners Baker Chocolate family wasn’t t listed. ZERO OWNERS listed. HAHA FUNNY WEBSITE GOOD FOR ZERO I basically just sold my info to this website for $5.00. They may refund the money upon cancelling but it doesn’t matter. Worthy of negative stars.

If I could assign negative stars, I would. I was searching an address, the system “ran the information,” indicated that I would be able to access it and made me pay to do so. After I paid, it said “property not found”. This screams of a scam and if the company is actually monitoring this - do better and I want a refund.

I am unsure how I was enrolled or charged for this service. I can remember being on a website to look someone up, but when it was going to charge me I just left the page. I have no idea how this happened.

I am extremely upset and disappointed that companies like this can get by with charging people's credit cards and then say "well we told you so." But what about the people who have never used this service? And getting enrolled even in the what people refer to as the free period? What resolution do we have?I am unsure how I was enrolled or charged for this service. I can remember being on a website to look someone up, but when it was going to charge me I just left the page. Scam super scam!

Scam! Scam! Scam!!! Rip off. I paid the dollar then went to the website to try and make sure that I wasn’t going to be billed. And nothing was apparent on the site. When I went to the “my account” page, nothing. Then I noticed on my credit card notification I was billed for 29 bucks. Knowing that was the only thing I used that card for I knew instantly that it was NeighborWho.com. I instantly went back to the website and it took a long time to find the how do I cancel selection. Eventually I found it and went through the process. Just like a scam it got me for 29 bucks. No one to voice my displeasure with. While it may be futile I am going to use any social platform that your site subscribes to and I am going to warn people about the scam!

I'm deeply disappointed with…

I'm deeply disappointed with NeighborWho. The website's auto-billing system is incredibly misleading. I signed up for the 7-day trial without being informed that I would automatically be charged $44 for the following month. I only realized this when I received an email notification from PayPal about the charge. Despite attempting to cancel any auto-billing within my account settings after the initial payment, there was no indication that my account would be billed $44 after the trial period. This lack of transparency feels like a deceptive practice on the part of the company.

auto-enrolled without clear consent

Like another reviewer, I did the trial and then noticed I was getting charged $44.86 a month. It was NOT obvious during the signup process that I was going to be auto-enrolled once the trial was over. Imo this is a shady business practice regardless of how obvious the company makes it up front. The honest thing to do would be send an email at the end of the trial asking if the person wants continue, and if there’s no reply, assume the answer is “no” and don’t start charging them.

UPDATE: I reached out to them and they agreed to give me a refund. Still not pleased about the hassle or their use of the auto-enroll strategy, but props to them for cooperating.
