Nordstrom is an overpriced scam. I worked for the company and can confirm without question that every single thing they sell is AT LEAST 100% markup. And that’s no lie! I handled customer returns for 63 Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack stores, let me tell you they marked up everything they purchased from home goods to fine jewelry. Every single item was marked up 100%+ what they purchased it for. DO NOT BUY! Nordstrom IS A SCAM!!!!! Ask Tim Witman….east coast distribution center manager. He will tell you Nordstrom is a mark up scam!!!!!

I took my male friend into Nordstrom at Oakbrook Court. While we were in the shoe department my friend was approached by Cindy. My friend was wearing a pair of beautiful Calvin Klein pumps. Cindy had a look of disgust on her face and rudely questioned my friend. He graciously explained that men were the first to wear high heels. She made another comment about his shoes, then turned and left my friend.
At that point my friend felt humiliated by her lack of knowledge, and rudeness.
We felt unwelcome and singled out.
We left without purchasing anything. We ended up leaving the mall immediately because of the bad situation. We had originally planned on each of us purchasing a matching pair of pumps, and I needed to pick up some pants and a dress. We left with nothing.
5 hours later my friend was still shaking. I tried to get him to eat some dinner, but he couldn’t even eat.
Employees need to be aware of how their actions truly impact their customers. I don’t expect people to have knowledge about everything, but I do expect people to knowledge about the area they work in. Cindy should have knowledge about shoes, the history of shoes, and different cultures.
I expect better from Nordstrom. I am saddened by the deterioration of quality employees. Please do better.

Nordstrom gift card balance disappears/stolen
I am writing to share my deep disappointment with how Nordstrom has handled a serious issue regarding their gift cards and customer protection.
I received a $500 Nordstrom gift card as a Christmas gift from a family member. I used it once to make a purchase of about $130, leaving a remaining balance of approximately $370. However, when I attempted to use the card again just two months later during a sale, I was shocked to discover that the balance was $0.00. After contacting customer service, I was informed that the remaining funds had been stolen the very next day after my initial purchase.
What was even more concerning was the response I received. The customer service representative admitted that this type of fraud occurs frequently with Nordstrom gift cards and transferred me to the fraud department. Unfortunately, instead of taking accountability or offering a resolution, the fraud department dismissed my concerns and advised me to file a police report.
This is deeply troubling. Nordstrom has the ability to track where, when, and how a gift card is used, yet no effort was made to investigate or protect me as a customer. A company of Nordstrom’s reputation should take gift card security seriously and ensure that customers are not left vulnerable to theft.

1st purchase made thru app on 8/13 Expected delivery was the 22nd. Was 1st told that the item arrived at store on the 18th then later revealed that the package was lost. Refund then denied. They lost my package and now denies a refund. What kind of insanity is this?
Non-stop crappy service
Non-stop crappy service. Merchandise at the RACK is not really much of a bargain. Shopping online and trying to return something through the mail is ridiculously EXPENSIVE. Pretty much ZERO help on the floor in the store. Only highlight was a young man at the Lynnwood,WA store was kind, quick, and courteous when I was returning something for the first time in-store.

Nordstrom in the Houston Galleria downstairs in the ladies perfume department there’s a GORGEOUS tall lady by the name Janis with blond hair who looks like a runway model…. She’s the best to consult you on different perfumes and what pairs with it. If your shopping in Houston Nordstrom for women perfume please ask for Janice the absolute best …… Thanks Nordstrom because of her I purchased several high end perfumes…… so glad you have her apart of your staff the BEST.

Package not delivered- replacement / refund declined. I am a lifelong customer of Nordstrom and I ordered a pair of running shoes to my apartment building. My building is new and the address was just recently added so many carriers have had issues getting packages to the right location. I believe my shoes were delivered to a neighboring building but was unable to locate them. I filed a claim with the carrier then reached out to Nordstrom directly about the issue. I live in a major city and these things are incredibly common. Every other company where ive run into this has graciously sent a replacement. I'd always had good experiences before, but this time they denied sending me a replacement or refund and I am out nearly $200 over a shipping mistake. They have lost me as a customer.

Horrible service at men's and kids, men's cologne. Salesperson act like they don't work there, Talking each other. But when is time to pay, everyone wants the sale with out helping customers. Manager don't help neither. Horrible experience. Don't recommend.

Women’s Bombas Socks turn into Men’s Tshirts.
I ordered some Bomba socks for my daughter. The package I received contained a pack of four men’s undershirts. I “chatted” with a representative. She said she’d email me a label to return the tshirts. I suggested they just send me what I ordered and not ask me to correct their error and repackage the tshirts and take them to a FedEx store. Other companies have done this in the past when they sent the wrong item. I would have donated them to charity. She said she couldn’t do that, so she sent the return label. Then, she said I could go to the Nordstrom at a mall 25 minutes away to get my socks and return the wrong item. I responded that that wasn’t convenient for me. Then she asked if I’d like assistance reordering what I originally ordered. I mean, they had all the information and should have been able to do that for me automatically. I finally said no— I’d order them from someone else. I’ve never had this scenario with an online order from anyone. Very disappointed.

I would rate less than 1 if i could. So very disappointed in this company. Nordstrom was our go to. But poor quality products and sadly poor service. I have ordered mens white tee shirts for thirty years.
Now they are cheap material and very very skimpy in size. I have no faith in their products.

I have received an item that is too small. They have advised that to return the item would cost more than the item itself £48. This is outrageous!!
If you order from abroad, you will be penalised because you are not in the US or Canada. Buyer beware. First and last time.!!!
Horrible and using OnTrac which never delivers to me.
Not what it used to be. They are using OnTrac as a shipper which is a disaster as they deliver to random addresses and the picture is never that of my house. I never get my packages. I won’t be shopping here anymore. Their customer service has also taken a dive. Horrendous.
