Discrimination against culture

Like imagine firing me for wearing a necklace that represents my background, when everyone else can wear stuff that represents their faith, background or gender, but when it comes to me, YOU FIRE ME??? a necklace??? 0.5 of star if possible. What happened to discrimination laws??

I ordered 3 dresses I got them…

I ordered 3 dresses I got the order delivered to my house andchecked out as a guest. However, I got no email from them on order placement , they were not able to track their own shipping information mentioned on their delivery packet, couldn’t find my phone number, delivery address or card info anything to verify my order to return. Also gift card was given for lower amount besides not getting any refund due to their mistake.

I am disappointed with Nordstrom

I am extremely disappointed with @Nordstrom. My daughter ordered a Father’s Day gift (Order #542660564)—not only was it never delivered, but it never even shipped! It just sat in their warehouse. There were no proactive updates, and there was no real help from support. Is this the new standard of "premium" service? I had to follow up and was met with empty apologies and no help. No escalation, no compensation, no care. Disappointing experience. I won't trust them again for important dates.

Called Nordstrom Seattle downtown…

Called Nordstrom Seattle downtown store. Operators are foreign and Do Not understand the English language at all. I called four times asking for IT department. I was transferred to "Childrens", the "Cafe/Cafiterria", "Mens" and "Shoes". WTF? Idiots.

Want to seek help? In your dreams!

I have NEVER wrote a review about my shopping experience before, NEVER. However, this time I just HAD TO.

Customer service is horrible and unhelpful, they are irresponsible and seem like they have no idea what they’re doing. I don’t know how much Nordstrom is paying their employees to have these types of incompetent people working for them, but they clearly need to raise their hiring standards. The people in customer service don’t care. They probably aren’t paid much.

DO BETTER NORDSTROM. Or simply shutdown.

I used to trust Nordstrom until now

I used to trust Nordstrom until now. I have spent a lot of money with them. Recently, they lied to me about tailoring my pants in time for a trip just so I would spend money. They are now just Macy’s with nice clothes. Shop elsewhere.

BEWARE INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
I never leave reviews but I have to in this case.

Return fees were almost 40% of what I paid - charged me a shocking total $125 AUD for returning one pairs of shoes!
Also charged taxes both ways - delivery and the return.

What's even more shocking is that Nordstrom obscures these fees on purpose, so the customer wrongly assumes they'll be paying an honest shipping cost.

AVOID THIS BUNCH OF CON ARTISTS AT ALL COSTS!!!

I ordered Alexander Mcqeen tennis shoes on sale for $414.00. They arrived with blue pen marks along every seam of both shoes! No previous disclosure of them being damaged. I didn’t bother returning them, because my last return was given to me in the form of an egift gard instead of crediting my account.

If you’re looking for the thrill of…

If you’re looking for the thrill of being completely ignored while wandering through a half-stocked store like being in a DMV waiting room—you’ve found your spot. The staff seemed deeply committed to avoiding eye contact (teens these days...i guess!), and I think one employee may have actually disappeared into a rack of coats rather than help me.

Slim picking selection. Prices don’t match the quality, and neither does the service. I’d rather shop at a garage sale.

Won’t be back. Would give zero stars if I could, if it wasn't at the mall where I can get a pick-me-up at the food court afterward. Abysmal return policy as well.

Subject: Urgent Complaint – Severe Skin Injury Caused by La Prairie Product Purchased at Nordstrom

Dear Nordstrom and La Prairie Customer Relations,

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a serious injury sustained by my 80-year-old mother after using a La Prairie GOLD Cream, purchased at Nordstrom ONLINE. Within three days of application, my mother experienced a severe skin reaction, including facial swelling, burning, and bleeding wounds, as shown in the attached photos.

We promptly returned to Nordstrom to report this matter, expecting basic compassion and responsibility. However, we received no apology or concern, and were told she should not shop using her Nordstrom card, claiming she wouldn’t qualify for Nordstrom Notes. This dismissive and discriminatory treatment, especially toward a senior citizen in distress, is unacceptable.

Given the extent of her injuries, medical involvement, emotional distress, and loss of trust in both brands, I am formally seeking $10,000 in restitution for damages and suffering caused.

• Photo evidence of emergency responders present at the home

We are requesting:
• A formal written apology from both Nordstrom and La Prairie
• Compensation of $10,000 for damages
• Assurance that your teams will investigate this product and its safety for senior use
• A review of your customer service and return policies, particularly for cases involving physical harm

Please respond within 10 business days. If no adequate resolution is provided, we will consider pursuing this matter through media, consumer protection channels, or legal options.

I just want to say Ruzana Margoosian, at Thousand Oaks Nordstrom is beyond amazing!!!!! This super king professional woman is exceptional. She is so good at her job. She is so on top of her job. Honestly, I have never met anybody this great!!!! She's just got it down. What a gem. I love seeing her!!!! If she's not there I'm sad. Ruzanna makes you feel really special. What a gem you have. Not a reputable store

I ordered 3 pair of shoes from the website in November of 2024 and only received 1 pair. I called nordstrom and let them knownI only received 1 item. The customer service representative put the incorrect shoes I were missing. Low and behold I was contacted and said I couldn't get a refund because the items were delivered. I canceled my credit card with nordstrom and will never shop here again. Its absurd that they claim they did an investigation which I was never contacted. I always thought nordstrom was a reputable store. In all my years of shopping here I never had a issue until I ordered items online. I hope people stop shopping here. This is not how valuable customers should be treated. If I could give a 0 I would.

Fastidious, and contridicting themselves

Nordstrom is intimidated by my background. They wasted their own time sending and interview to complete just to turn around and say While impressed by your back ground we've decided to pursue other candidates. They can't say they didn't say because it in writing. A paper trail is the best solution for proof. It really did not make any sense to say that. I straight just told them to stop lying because they were not impressed. People who truly like an interview would glad to bring you on. Make it make sense.

Empty open mail package, doesn’t use tapes. Won’t refund me.

I got an empty open mailing package and Nordstrom refused to refund me. I would rather to shop at their store or do a store pick up but nearest one was 2 hours away. The box was lightly glued on the inside (3 little lines each side) and they thought it’s secure enough to ship $400 order inside and without signature requirement. I called and chatted with customer service like 3 times and has no results. Sadly I will not shop at Nordstrom again.

No longer customer friendly

Sadly, Nordstrom wrote and said that my card is being cancelled due to not using it. I now live outside the US. Nordstrom will ship here, but you can't use their card. I tried to use their card and ship to a friend that is coming to visit. They have over a week to ship the item to the US address. Nope, they can't even manage that. Sadly, Nordstrom our decades long relationship has come to an end.

I made an online purchase from…

I made an online purchase from Nordstrom and returned the item (a jacket, cost $600) using their prepaid return label.
According to FedEx tracking, the package was delivered to Nordstrom on April 30, 2025.
However, Nordstrom has refused to refund me, claiming they cannot locate the item in their warehouse.
This is very disappointing since I followed all the return instructions properly.
I had to file a chargeback with my bank and submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
I do not recommend buying online from Nordstrom.
