This is the most miserable company I've ever shop online.
This is the most miserable company I've ever shop online. The staff has terrible attitude. They shipped to me damaged possibly dropped on the ground laptop used possibly for 3 to 4 years since release MacBook Pro M1 with 80 percent battery life condition as a Refurbished. The price was 1349 euro before tax. They wrote in their advert in Amazon.de Refurbished product.
They declined three offers for a replacement which a manager of Amazon.de requested and two offers for a compensation.
I am starting a lawsuit against them! Don't shop from this company! They sell used for years renovated laptops especially in my case and list the products as refurbished. They sell on almost every platform of Amazon in Europe and Ebay.

In fact, we refurbish Apple equipment which is classified according to 3 aesthetic grades ranging from perfect condition to very good condition, then to good condition.
You opted for the ‘good condition’ aesthetic grade, which shows signs of use due to the Mac's previous use by a user.
We have respected your choice.
We have offered you an exchange or upgrade of this machine, which you have refused.
The concept of reconditioning has been explained to you on numerous occasions and we are sorry that this is not to your satisfaction.

Really disgusting, terrible experience
Outrageous. I purchased the Mac from the backmarket in excellent condition, I didn't expect much in terms of aesthetics given the price but at least it must have the basic functionality. Bought for the first time and returned due to problems with the keyboard and the aesthetic state was really pitiful, I made the refund after a short while but instead of giving me my money back I got another Mac, same model, with just as many problems, this one aimed at the speakers and the 3.5mm jack connector
A waste of time and money, I do not recommend purchasing products from this seller.

We're sorry to hear that the aesthetic grade of the appliance did not meet your expectations.
I see that you have chosen the intermediate grade "very good condition" and not the highest aesthetic grade "excellent condition and/or perfect condition".
It is therefore normal to find this type of cosmetic defect in this category.
As for the keyboard malfunction, if you wish, you can adjust the sensitivity of the keys via the computer's system preferences.
We carried out an exchange at Backmarket's request.
Following this exchange, a Backmarket agent informed us of your wish for a refund and we have therefore accepted this request and refunded your order on 13 June 2024.

Refurbished iMacs - BEWARE NO QUALITY CONTROL
Refurbished iMacs seem not to go through quality control. 1. Could not connect to WiFi. No reply by telephone or emails so visited their office in Angers.
Had cost of hotel as Okamac couldn’t replace that same day.
2. 2nd iMac - Bluetooth not connected so Magic Mouse and keyboard couldn’t connect. Had to wait for a keyboard with cable to be sent to me.
3. Screen fell out of iMac frame. Seems double sided tape only on one side.

I can confirm that our iMacs do undergo quality control.
For our part, the accessories you sent back were functional, so it was probably a problem with the settings.
As for the problem with the iMac screen, we're waiting to receive it to find out what really happened.
For your information, we have replied to all your email requests. In fact, I note that after your first email of 2 April, Ophélie replied on 3 April and following your reply, it was Lola who continued the conversation with you on 4 and 5 April 2024.
I'd also like to point out that we offered to send you a new iMac by post when you visited us.

Embarassing
I first bought a Mac on backmarket and it warmed up when it was on charge, as well as it had problems with the screen and with the speed. I asked for a refund and bought another one and the one I bought did not even turn on. Such a waste of time and I'm still waiting since few days for the tag to send it back and get the refund.
