False promises of paying you

False promises of paying you, i haven’t been paid still I can’t get to work because they haven’t paid me and I’ve rang them over 20 times emailed of 6 times, useless company avoid at all cost! Even still now I am chasing my pay I don’t know how recruiting agency use this company gives them a bad name now I have to report them for scamming and stealing DONT USE THIS COMPANY ITS A SCAM !!

Avoid at all costs

Another transfer from Churchill Knight. Staff do not seem to know what they are doing and the communication is abysmal.

I emailed them 3 weeks ago to clarify what the reimbursement process was, followed up with another email and 2 calls. Once i finally got through to someone I was told to look at the portal. When showing there was no expenses option on the portal I was told to email them my expenses. When asked if this was the normal process they proceeded to say 'sure'. Excellent, really sounds like they know what they are doing.

They also did not pay me, voicemails & emails are not responded to. After calling 7 times I got through to a person who has had me on hold to payroll for 40 minutes as the only other option was for payroll to call me back which from experience will not happen. After waiting for 40 minutes I was told no one was avaliable due to a meeting.

I got a call back from Finn who, to his credit, has been the only person to follow through with actually calling me back. It was confirmed by Finn I will be on the next payroll however no explanation as to why my hours were not processed in a timely manner last week.

I eventually got paid before the end of the working day however overall this company has been inaccessible and it should not take a client constantly calling and chasing them to ensure they do their job.
Absolutely shocking 'service' I have started the process of moving umbrella companies and from the conversations I have had with various umbrella companies it seems they are all well aware of the mess this company are causing.

The fact I have had to pay for this 'service' is ridiculous when they can not even get the basics right.

Very poor experience. AVOID.

Very poor experience. Transferred from Churchill Knight and found experience wholly unsatisfactory. In the first week I discovered my tax coding was wrong because Omnia had notified the tax office incorrectly. Despite several emails Omnia did not get in touch. Eventually a drawn out call with the tax office direct resolved the issue, using my estimated future earnings.
The following week Omnia did not pay me, despite my agency forwarding my earnings to them in good time. Again emails ignored, no one to answer the phone, answerphone messages not responded to.
I cannot pay for this diabolical service. I am annoyed Churchill Knight transferred me as a client to such an terrible organisation. There is no way of contacting them. Customer service is non existent!
I have already taken steps to change umbrella organisations. They've lost me as a client. I will continue to chase my unpaid earnings. Disgraceful company.

Do not recommend

Similar to other reviews, I was also transferred over to Omnia from Churchill Knight with about a week's notice. I have been trying to get in touch with them since the 4th February and I can’t get them on the phone and no answer to my email. Last week I was paid however I haven’t been paid this week. I pay a service to this company and I rely on them to be paid effectively and timely so for me being unable to get in touch with them and not being paid is completely unacceptable.

Transferred from Churchill Knight. Not been paid yet….could not get through to speak to someone. Did not reply to my phone calls within 1 hour as stated. Don’t have a good feeling about this!

Terrible Company

Moved over with one weeks notice from churchill knight, cant get through on the phones, nobody responds to emails and weekly payments missing, seems the same for everyone else.

Moved over from Churchill Knight - Late payment

Moved over from Churchill Knight, was not paid on time. I had direct debits and standing orders bounce as a result, almost impossible to get them on the phone, finally did and was told yes I would get paid and again I didn't. I am moving away as a result. Dont go near to this lot with a barge pole.

No one ever answers the phone...

I was one of the contractors transferred from Churchill-Knight with one week notice.
Since the transfer, I had no communication from Omnia.
I had a salary sacrifice pension deduction in place but this was not transferred and I was not informed, only noticing when I received my first payslip.
I have tried calling and emailing many times over the last week but I still cannot get anyone to respond.

Similar to other reviewers, I was transferred over from my previous umbrella company on 30th January with only 1 weeks notice. Since then my pay has been incorrect, my tax code has been changed and is now incorrect, my timesheet has incorrectly been rejected. It is impossible to get through to anybody at Omnia, calls are not answered or returned. They do however seem to have the time available to reply to reviews on here.

I was also transferred to…

Like others I was also transferred to Omnia from my previous umbrella company. As commented by others no communication, salary sacrifice lost costing me 4 figures and impossible to contact despite numerous calls and requests for a call.
Totally avoid, plenty of other umbrella companies out there running a professional service.

Do not communicate with umberella employees

Do not answer calls or emails and have not returned calls left 5 days ago.

My pensions contributions following a tupe from churchill knight were not managed properly either and have not been paid to my SIPP.

Got paid but poor communication

Similar to another reviewer below, I was also transferred over to Omnia from Churchill Knight with about a week's notice.

Whilst I got paid on time, it was not communicated by either Churchill Knight or Omnia that my salary sacrifice arrangement would not carry over, leading me to pay a lot more tax than expected this month.

Very Disappointed - Pension Promises Not Honoured

I chose Churchill Knight specifically for their private pension and salary sacrifice scheme. The acquisition by Omnia was announced a week before it took place, yet I was never informed that my pension arrangement would be removed. I only discovered the change via my payslip, which has caused immediate financial loss as a high taxpayer, paying significantly more tax and National Insurance than I should.

Attempts to resolve this have been frustrating: calls are never picked up, and email responses are extremely slow. For a service I relied on for my financial planning, this is completely unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Omnia.
