Great software with strong features and room to grow

I used the free version of OptiSign for a couple of weeks and really liked it. I’ve since signed up and now have it fully operational in my office lobby. It’s been a big hit. I like it, and my tenants do as well.

Because of that, I’ve already ordered a second OptiSign stick to install in the community building at my apartment property, and I’m currently considering adding two more in the future.

The software does have a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s actually pretty easy to use. I’ve been combining OptiSign with ChatGPT to create custom templates and designs, which has worked extremely well.

The only real issues I’ve run into involve some of the built-in feeds, such as Word of the Day. The initial splash screen displays for quite a long time, and I wish there were a way to shorten that so the content appears sooner. Also, I expected the feed to rotate to a new word each time, but it continues showing the same word every cycle, and it has done that since installation.

I’ve also noticed a few minor quirks. For example, when previewing content, it doesn’t always behave exactly the same on the live screen. I have a design with a ticker at the bottom that scrolls perfectly in preview, but on the actual display it runs very slowly and never finishes the full message.

That said, these are small issues compared to the overall value. I genuinely love this software, it looks great in our lobby, and it has been an excellent addition to our property. I’m excited to continue expanding my use of OptiSign moving forward.
