Still waiting for my order to arrive…

Still waiting for my order to arrive after more than one month. The item was supposed to be delivered in one week. I understand under the current circumstances the orders may be delayed but at least you could inform your customers. I contacted several times the customer service and they don't reply. Terrible service, not recommended.

Worst shopping experience ever

Worst shopping experience ever, STAY AWAY.
Order placed 17.04. 2020, up to date EVEN NOT SHIPPED.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER, THEY RESPOND ALL THE TIME SAME ..... :
Unfortunately we are not able to give you a date. Our carrier will notify you as soon as the know. Until then we have to wait. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Groetjes, Melanie

Ordered something almost 3 weeks ago…

Ordered something almost 3 weeks ago that was suppose to have a delivery time of 5-6 working days. I understand that during Corona time something like this can take longer, but they should have a notification on their website saying delivery times are longer due to the crisis. I pointed this out to them but still nothing on their website. With the product I ordered it still says 5-6 working days next to it, which they know is not something they can deliver. I should receive a notification upon shipping and it has not even been shipped yet, so it’s not the fault of the transport company. All customer service is saying is to wait till 4 weeks after ordering and they will start an “investigation”. You make an order on a specific website because of the promised delivery date, so it’s to say the least a big disappointment that Otto can’t deliver. My mother also ordered some pajamas from them months ago, and one of the pajamas still hasn’t come in. Would not order from this website again.

After more than 3 weeks I am still…

After more than 3 weeks I am still waiting for my order, i do understand the situation is different with covid going on but this is just ridiculous. When I called customer service, they told me the couldnt contact from Germang directly... what kind of relationship do you have with your suppliers if you cannot contact him. I should never have tried to save a lousy 5 euros by ordering from this amateuristic webshop.

Very dissapointed

Very dissapointed . Delivery duration time stated on their site is false. Customer service workers are unfriendly , not helpfull and have a bad attitude. I always ,and all times speak in a very polite and understanding manner when doing business, because I too work at CS. Their moodiness and arrogance on the phone is just shamefull for the company. I personally will not order anything from Otto anymore , because they state 3-5 business days for a delivery , I have ordered 14 days prior to my daughters birthday, thus gave them more days to arrange timely delivery . Yet here we are , week of the birthday no package. 3x contact with customer service resulted in nothing but frustration and unanswered questions. No more Otto for me .

I ordered 5 days ago at otto.nl and…

I ordered 5 days ago at otto.nl and still no delivery when i payed the money it was saying that it will be at my home 1 -2 day after payment and still nothing . And no one its giving any answer on the telefone. Very disapointet i will never order on this company

Passport copy for 20€ online order?!

Ordered an item for under 20€ online. Was asked to provide a whole bunch of personal information incl. a copy of my ID and proof of address to verify my data.
Very unusual considering it's just a simple online order for 17€ 🤣

Poor customer service, unclear webpage

I haven't purchased anything from otto.nl before, but I don't think I ever will.

When I saw a nice coat on their website, I checked their size chart. However, the chart was confusing because it seemed to assume that the taller you are, the bigger your chest circumference is. So I sent an e-mail at night asking for more information about what size would best fit me.

Early the next morning, the coat had been removed from the website. Very odd considering there were 44 of it left and the webpage didn't say the coats were the last ones left. The page didn't warn the customer at all about the fact that the coat was about to be removed. It honestly seems like the page's admins forgot to remove the page, and found out when I e-mailed them. Very sloppy in my opinion.

When they finally responded to my e-mail, they told me that I should click on 'article information', but I already checked that, and almost no information is given there at all. They also said they have no further info.

I asked if the coat would ever be restocked, but they ignored that question.

Very sloppy customer service, the article information is threadbare, and the customer service via e-mail is completely uninterested in your question. I wouldn't be surprised if their products are terrible too, with this kind of mediocre quality assurance.

I have never had such a bad customer…

I have never had such a bad customer service in my life. I have ordered a washing machine with a delivery time of 3to 5 working days (still pretty long time compared to other distributors), but after I paid for my order the delivery time become 4 weeks. I wasn't notified about it, the only way I came across this was by checking my own order online. When calling to the customer service I got 3 different answers, the machine was sent, the machine wasn't sent, delivery time being 4 weeks, we can't do anything. I was comimg myself up with solutions as If I was the employee there, but they continued to say they can't help me, even if my currently washing machine is broken and I can't wait 4 weeks for a new one. Never again!

First of all

First of all, when I ordered, the option of placing my order at a Post NL pick up point wasn't possible, so Knowing POST NL it was a gamble, of course the package didn't arrive and nobody at OTTO reply's lucky it wasn't very much, but it's ridiculous that OTTO continues it's relation with POST NL with the Million of complaints ....

Horrible delay and no communication

Honestly, I’ve never had such a bad experience with a webshop before. Ordered a TV on Black Friday with a delivery time of ‘around two weeks’. Understandably to some extent, they were late because of the high demand around Black Friday. However, we’re almost two months down the road and we still haven’t received our order. I’ve contacted customer support four times already, and continuously get the same answer that it will be delivered in a week. It hasn’t. Everytime, I have had to inform myself about the status of the delivery. There’s absolutely no proactive communication from OTTO. Additionally, they don’t try to actually find out what’s going on with the supplier and just say “that’s all the info we have got from them”. Only positive thing is that they respond quickly on Facebook, but the response itself is far from satisfying.

At this point, we just really want our TV. OTTO, how about you actually make it happen, after two months of waiting?

Worst experience with online shopping…

Worst experience with online shopping so far.

For some unknown reason they changed the address to an address at the other end of the country. When calling customer service (4 times!!) they were unhelpful and unfriendly to say the least. One girl even said that that was just too bad for me and I would have to hope that the residents of the address would return it. Or I would lose my money and order.

All four working at customer service told me that my only chance of fixing the problem was to call PostNL to ask if they can return the order. Called PostNL (2x) and they told me that only the company and not a customer could cancel or return a package so Otto had to call them. When telling Otto this news they simply refused doing that, once again I would have to hope that the residents would return the package.

Three of the four employees working at customer service assured me that they would call me with a solution. None did. I was also not able to file a complaint on the website or get in contact with anyone higher up.

In the end, I had to ask a friend to go to the address and see if she could pick up my package.

Abominable service.
