I am appalled at the customer service! 6 weeks and 5 days and still no refund of my parcel that was returned back to me. They keep blaming DPD - meantime they are a complete scam of note. They also eventually refunded me only 1/3 of my total amount I paid them initially.

I sent a card size of a driving licence it was £20.00 but they charged me extra £116

Absolutely dreadful company. I requested 3 items to be collected. All dimensions and weights were accurately described. Collection was the next day. The driver arrived in a big van. He took one look at the parcels and said that he didn’t have any room on his van and that he would rearrange another pickup. This event did not occur. When trying to contact DPD, I found out that the collection had been sub-contracted to another company who in turn sub-contracted to another company. Many phone calls later, I finally contacted parcelhero, which was a chore in itself. The person advised me to cancel my order and resubmit. I did cancel my order and went with Parcelforce instead. Yes, it cost me more money, but the service was ultimately miles better.
Parcelhero, service = crap, customer services = crap, ability to carry out its services = crap. My advice, don’t even consider them, they will just waist your time. My plans had to be put back by three days because of the incompetence and lack of communication.

Another cowboys.
Collection booked from drop off point. Courier never arrived to collect the parcel. I had to go there and get it back to use different courier to send it.

I can schedule collection directly with courier company and if they don't turned up then I'll get full refund, unless like dealing with you. Scammers. I will report you to financial ombudsman for this cowboy practics.

Scammers. I wouldnt even give this company a 1 star but its least you can give. Quick enough to take money for a collection but then don't collect it. Only after the lack of collection is queried did they advise that collections arent guaranteed and they WILL NOT REFUND...despite paying for a service they haven't provided. Absolute joke of a company.

As with others on here sent two large parcels within size and weight booked delivered by dpd but a couple of weeks later extra charges for residential which i had already paid and some other drummed up additional costs which they claim DPD had charged so took these from my account after lots of back and forth they have returned the residential payments to my account but after 4days they are still pending the other charges i have given up on never use them again, no problem with any of the other parcel services. Might be cheap but not good service and uncontactable by phone their number is premium charge. Look elsewhere cheaper in the long run.
Just had an email to say you have closed the case as i have not provided evidence of the weight/dimension's but the extra invoice was for alternate address nothing to do with weight or size and what alternate address same day phone means is anybody’s guess and your part refunds are still pending ?
UPDATE still waiting after weeks on partial refunds still pending in my account. Avoid using this company only parcel sending i have had a problem with :- PARCELHERO more like PARCEL NOGO !

Hi.. you acknowledged my review stating that I have an active case and the customer service advisor will work with me to resolve this issue however he has not provided any evidence that my parcel was in the perimeters of additional charges and not provided any answers as to why you took additional payments over 2 weeks apart without any authority from myself or any evidence to back up the reason why additional charges were applied.. I have sent clear images of the size and weight of the parcel which the advisor rejected stating not good enough?? He definitely looked for an obscure reason why they weren’t valid just to refuse the images as evidence for the sake of it.. this needs to be looked into by the Financial Ombudsman as you have set my card details up as a “ subscription “ which I did not agree to but means you can take money when you like .. potential customers be aware of this practice that parcel hero operates
Absolutely useless company, wish I had never used them. Arranged a parcel return which happened as planned but a week later they claimed there was a dispute on the size. Their claim was that UPS had audited the parcel and found it larger than booked. No details but assured me I don’t need to do anything as they had already taken the extra payment off my card. 3 times the original fee.
I have challenge this and sent pictures with tape measure on all sides and the box actually had the dimensioned printed on it from the original business I was returning it to. And this was under the size booked. Despite request for evidence of UPS claim they have failed to supply anything and only respond with a standard email ‘thank you for yuu patience while we …..’
I do not believe UPS had an issue and would advise people not to use parcel hero. Delivery companies like UPS and DHL might also want to review their
Association with parcel hero as they put them in a bad light.

I doubled checked the size and weight of my parcel and even added on some extra, just to make sure.
About a week after it was delivered Parcel Hero took a further payment stating - We’re sorry to inform you that UPS has audited your shipment and found that the weight or dimensions you provided to us was inaccurate and this has affected the cost of your shipment.
Nothing on the UPS site about it being wrong.
No proof given by Parcel Hero, just took the money.
**Update - The contact us I was advised to use is worse that the service I recieved. It's just a automated service using AI, about as much use as a chocolate teapot**

The parcel was delivered in good time however there was no means where i could pay the duty and tax online when in customs. I do not want my friend to have to pay to receive a present from me. For this reason i will not use you again.

I have used these a number of times, and been generally happy. BUT, this time ParcelHero merely 'passed the Buck' when they advised me DPD- (the company I had chosen to deliver the small parcel-after the driver originally refused to collect, causing me to cancel and rebook the collection from a different local shop!) had 'audited the parcel'- FOUR DAYS after it had been delivered- that the weight was wrongly labelled-WHY would I have knowingly done that?
I was surcharged 25%! It was the mistake of someone typing out the label further along the journey and THEN they expected ME to produce photographs of the package with a ruler showing the measurements and the weight on the scales as 'proof'! I had had to print out all NINE Customs sheets, all showing the size and weight! We are talking here of a package 22cm long, 10cm wide and 11.5cms high (it is imprinted on my brain!! It weighed 340grammes!!). "ParcelHero" refused to help! If you can, don't bother using these businesses-they are in it for themselves, CUSTOMER SERVICE?? What's THAT?!!

used you a few times. Last parcel, booked in and paid for at price offered, then a few days later received a surcharge invoice for £6.68 which was nearly half the original amount charged. Seems like a sneaky way of getting more money. Very misleading. Not impressed. This should not be allowed to happen. The price quoted should be honoured.
