dishwasher / installation gone wrong

I bought dishwasher, purchased installation and removal of old dishwasher. They dropped off new dishwasher, claimed that they could not work / open/close the water line connecting the dishwasher, did not try loosening spray. Took off and said call plumber. PCrichards is not refunding installation fee - it was a Labor Day promo and I guess all along the plan was to keep promo $$ for the installation

They have the worst service ever

They have the worst service ever , I really miss Sears service . I bought all my appliances for 3 houses from PC Richard's and son , I got the 8 year warranty on everything, biggest mistake of my life . Their Service department has the lowest ranking in the industry . My 1st experience to use the warranty started March of 2024 to repair my Range , they had at least 4 no shows , for various reasons , No communications what so ever , and ever time I would call to complain they would start from Zero . They are quick to sell you the warranty, but my advice is never to buy it from them at all. Until today August 24 2024 , my Range has not been fixed . I am so upset beyond belief.

Horrible delivery experience!!!Was…

Horrible delivery experience!!!Was given a 11:15-3:15 window which was not a problem.At 3pm I went on line to check.They changed my window to 1:15-05:15 without letting me know.Why give windows if they don't follow them.Guess customers times are not important.Not what PC Richard used to be like.

DONT BOTHER…..RUN

I never have a problem with shopping at P. C. Richards so long as I don’t shop at Ralph ave. In Brooklyn NY. If you shop there check your receipts and your products. Some of the people who work there are less than ethical. They switch products and act shocked when you catch them. The selling practices are horrible. BUYERS BEWARE. Choose another location to shop.

Horrible customer service

I bought a dish washer. It broke within the year. When I called them to discuss the issue the customer service rep said, “If things didn’t break, no one would make money.”

Twice the delivery truck broke down…

Twice the delivery truck broke down they called at 4:30 for the delivery window that was supposed to be at 9:15 to 1 PM
And the driver yelled and screamed on top of his lungs saying that they were too busy for delivery

This is a review about the excellent customer service my husband, Arthur and I, Nelia Jimenez received from Kevin Jarett of Paramus, NJ, branch of Hanover PC Richard & Son.
We ordered side by side Subzero Classic refrigerator, Subzero under the counter beverage refrigerator, Wolf 6 burner- cooktop, wall Wolf single oven, Wolf steam convection oven, Wolf range hood and accessories, and Cove dishwasher. Delivery of those appliances were delayed at different times because of logistic issues due to Covid but Kevin reassured us and kept us informed of developments along the way. Finally, everything were delivered and installed in my new kitchen and boy , does my kitchen looked so elegant with these jewels! I can call Kevin anytime and he responded positively without problems (even on his off days). He provided me records of delivery and installation dates for my record without hesitation. Now, we are enjoying our kitchen with these beautiful appliances.
We would like for anybody who is looking to purchase major appliances to reach out to Kevin Jarett in PC Richard & Son in Paramus, NJ.

When I walked in to PC Richard to purchase a $1200 BBQ I had no issue. When I had to replace a 2 week broken burner knob, I was told to go online and order one, it was an issue? Why does custom service go out the door once a purchase is done????

Can't Beat P.C, Richards Price & Customer Service

I have had two great experiences with the Wayne store! One just recently with sales rep, Jose, who helped me replace a GE over-the-range microwave in White which is HARD TO FIND! Great price! Installed today (quick, neat, professional). Perfect fit!
July, last summer, I replaced two very old built-in air-conditioners in my condo (special fit size). Beautiful LG avail (great price), installed perfectly and old hauled away! If you need complete "turn key" service especially haul away, call Jose in the Wayne store! Happy customer in Clifton.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME

Ordered a pair of beats pro fit on the 3rd of July for delivery on the 6th (bare in mind I live in the same state that the earbuds were being shipped from so I don't know why they needed 3 days) . After the 3rd day I decided to get an update on my order and it WASN'T EVEN SHIPPED YET. Finally got shipped the following week only to be notified that there was a mistake on the order and it's being returned back to sender. Tried contacting customer service to find a solution. Got hold of an agent via a live chat by the name of Caroline who was super rude and unprofessional, couldn't offer any help..

At the end of it I filed a dispute with my bank and requested a refund.

Pc Richard and Son.. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!!

I bought a tempur-pedic mattress last…

I bought a tempur-pedic mattress last year in march. I work 10-16 hours a day at my jobs and needed a comfortable mattress that would last me a very long time. I decided to purchase the top of the line mattress available for $4,000. I decided that the comfort of this mattress would justify the hefty price. When discussing the warranty, the sales associate mentioned to me to make sure to get my mattress covered under the warranty and to get a cover for the mattress that was another 150 dollars. I agreed since I wanted to make sure that this warranty would cover my investment if anything happened. After having it for a little over a year with a sturdy bed frame, the mattress started sinking in the middle. I am a single petite woman who gets maybe 6 hours of sleep a night at most. I have been experiencing neck and shoulder pain so I decided to check the mattress and that’s when I discovered the sinking. There is no reason that this mattress should be sinking especially within a year of having it with a bed frame and all. I contacted the company the warranty was issued under and they said because of “improper” support that is why the mattress is sinking and why they will not cover my mattress under the warranty. Now I have to replace this mattress within a year of having it all because a neglectful sales associate at P.C. Richard that failed to inform me that I needed to buy a specific bed frame for this mattress. He decided to focus on making a sale to make commission instead of having my best interest in mind. I will not be returning to shop here anymore and I advise everyone to stay away. As well don’t buy tempur pedicure bad quality

We bought an LG refrigerator that went…

We bought an LG refrigerator that went bad after 2 1/2 years. The first time it went bad we lost $300 worth of groceries. Then they changed the compressor. Two months went by and fridge was down again. Then for a month they’ve been coming back and changing parts. The last man changed everything that could be changed and the fridge still wouldn’t work. They told us we would get a new refrigerator and then they wanted to change more parts. Now we are in the fifth week without a refrigerator (which we use to not only store food but MEDICINE). We go back and forth almost every day where they promise a refund and then go back to changing parts. There is a big lawsuit going on because of this and I wish we had known before going to P.C. RICHARDS. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM P.C. RICHARDS. They do not appreciate loyal customers.

Not fixing my refrigerator

I have an extended warranty for my refrigerator the freezer and refrigerator lights are out . I called them to get it repaired and they subcontract it to a company called G&G. I asked for a morning appointment. G& G contacted me the day before they came and said they would be there between 1pm and 3pm. They didn’t show up until 5 pm . I received no phone call or text stating why the guy would be late . The guy that came brought no parts to fix the problem and didn’t speak any English. We had to translate though his phone . He said the parts would have to be ordered . The company would contact me when the parts came in. I received a text that the parts were in and we set up a date for them to come fix the refrigerator. I again received a call saying the repair man would be at my house between 1pm and 4 pm . The repair man never showed I called G&G and PC Richard. The lady at the office called at 630 pm and said the driver get held up on a job and wouldn’t be coming. She then gave me an appointment for a Sunday . The same guy came over on time . He couldn’t fix the issue. I called PC Richards on Monday and asked if they had another company that could come over and fix my issue. They said no and set me up with the same company G&G . They told me they requested another technician to come over . I said this was unacceptable and wanted to speak to a manager. They never put a manager on the phone to speak with me . I will never buy another product from PCRichards again!

No Customer Service, Never Ordering from Here Again

I have been a loyal PC Richard & Son customer, but after today, I will never shop here again. I ordered an air conditioner on Wednesday with delivery on Saturday. At first, they gave a 7:00 am to 7:00 pm delivery window, but they said that they would inform me on Friday of a shorter delivery window (which they still might not abide by). On Friday, they said they would deliver my air conditioner between 7:45 am and 10:45 am. I kept my phone ringer on and woke up at 7:00 on Saturday morning and didn’t go anywhere to make sure I’d be home for the delivery. It’s almost 6 pm, and I have no air conditioner. I called the number that they tell you to call for delivery concerns, and their hours of operation end at 4:00 pm on Saturday. Gee, must be nice to do whatever you want after 4:00, but I wouldn’t know anything about that, because I have to stay home waiting for a delivery that I should have received many hours ago. The email that confirmed my delivery time stated that I could click on a link to get up to date information about my delivery. When I click on it and put in my information, it says it’s in the process of leaving the warehouse or some nonsense like that. Well, it should have been in my window by 11 this morning, according to the email and phone call I received about the delivery. Whoever delivers this air conditioner should install all of my air conditioning units for free if PC Richard wants to keep my business. Update: I was able to chat with someone from PC Richard who informed me that the air conditioner was back ordered and would be delivered on Thursday. I received no phone call or email about this, nor was I asked when would be a good day/time to have it delivered. Then the customer service representative asked me why I waited so long to contact them with concerns about my delivery! PC Richard will never get my business again. Update 2: I called customer service this morning and demanded compensation, in the way of a full refund and free installation, if they ever wanted to keep my business. I knew that I wasn’t going to get a free air conditioner, but I expected free installation as an apology, especially since the customer service representative that I chatted with the day before said that they could do that. But the person who I talked to today said that I couldn’t get free installation because I hadn’t already ordered and paid for it. If I received service like this at a restaurant, I’d at least get a free dessert, but I got nothing from my wasted time and terrible service from PC Richard. So instead I requested a refund and promised that I would never buy anything from PC Richard again. They lost a loyal customer for life. I ended up purchasing a comparable product from another retailer at a cheaper price.

Let me start by stating that I have…

Let me start by stating that I have always been a faithful PC Richard and Son customer. I have bought many appliances from them in the past. I have never had any issues with them at all. Always satisfied and pleased with every transaction.
on 04/06/24, I entered the store and met with Emilio, a salesperson, and inquired about purchasing a refrigerator. Shortly after, I did purchase a refrigerator for $654.94. I met with John, the manager who was nice enough to give me a $50.00 discount. Delivery was to be Saturday, AM 04/13. It was understood that the item was to be delivered utilizing the back door of the house and placed in the kitchen where the back door led into. The old refrigerator was to be left at the house. I did not purchase Haul_Away service for $50.00. The delivery person arrived Saturday AM 04/13. I was not present however the tenant was. The delivery person informed the tenant that he was to leave the refrigerator at the front or rear of the house only. Tenant contacted me and informed me what the delivery person stated. I asked to speak to the delivery person. Tenant stated that the delivery person does not want to speak to me. I informed the tenant that the appliance was to be placed in the kitchen through the back door. The delivery person shook down the tenant for 50 dollars to place the appliance in the kitchen. He stated to the tenant for the 50,00 charge, he will place the appliance in the kitchen and take the old appliance with him. At this point, I instructed the tenant to pay the delivery person 50 dollars and get a receipt and his name. The tenant did as instructed however, the delivery person would not provide a receipt nor his name. Later that day, I returned to the store and met with Emilio. I explained the situation. Emilio was quite surprised to hear what had happened. He called for Mike, the manager on duty and explained to him. Mike stated that he will inform John, the manager, of the situation, since John was involved with the initial sale. I asked Mike if he had ever heard of an issue as this. Mike replied that this happens more than you would think since PC Richards uses and outside contractor to delivery their products. Mike entered notes into the computer. Mike stated that 50 dollars will be refunded to me with additional compensation and that John will contact me. Mike was very apologetic. Several days went by and no contact by John .
I visited the store on 04/18 and again on 04/27 for and update. Saw Emilio. Emilio spoke to John. Emilio informed me that John put in a claim and that I will be contacted. As of today, I have yet to hear from John or anyone from PC RIichard. Needless to say, I am quite disappointed and upset.
I just want to be compensated for the 50 dollars wrongfully charged for the Haul away fee.

Terrible customer service from Bosch & PC Richards …

We are having a problem with the combo oven we purchased from PC Richard’s 7 years ago. We purchased dishwasher, cooktop ,and dishwasher also. We are repeat customers and also purchased several fridges. When we had a problem with our refrigerator the customer service was excellent ;however, now it is a Bosch appliance still under our extended warranty and the service from Bosch & PC Richards is horrible. It’s been 15 days and the part is on back order till the end of May (as of now). It broke beginning of April. Bosch is not even sure when it will be in. The oven was discontinued. Went to PC Richard's because my first experience was great. Bosch services their own appliances & doesn’t care about the customers. I get a different story every day! PC Richard’s is no better. The manager in Manalapan tells me he is busy with a customer and Robert from Corporate still has no answer for me.. They should issue a credit for me so that I can buy a new oven. Both of these companies are not apologetic & couldn’t give a damn about their customers experience.

My wife and I visited your Riverhead…

My wife and I visited your Riverhead store last week to purchase a motorized king and conventional mattress's. Your agent, Even Teich, was helpful and informed on the product line. We focused on Sterns and Foster and Sealy products and after his extended visits with management gave us what appeared to be fair pricing. I told him that my daughter had purchased a Sterns and Foster from her local PC store and I wanted to talk to her to determine if if the premium of $600 for the Sterns and Foster was justified. He went on to tell me that the prices quoted were if I signed now would go away if i left the store. i agreed. I called him back and made an appointment to visit the following Wednesday. at that time I mentioned that it was between the two products. Also, that my daughter mentioned that she received PC bonus bucks of $300 and asked if that was available to me. He had another ten minute conference with management and said it was only for th S&F product. He raised the price of the S&F package from $3600 to $5000 at that point and would give me $300 PC bucks per mattress. He insisted that that was the price and that was it. He asked if I was accusing him of lying and I confirmed that I was. As we headed for the door, he confronted us again in the middle of the sales floor in a loud voice that he had a wife and children to feed and at the price he quoted, he was not making a dime on the sale. We were upset by his tactics and without raising our voices headed for the door again. This was not the PC experienced we enjoyed for almost fifty years and never expected to be treated that way in the middle of the sales floor.

Trying to get my washing machine fixed…

Trying to get my washing machine fixed for over three weeks .two times they canceled on me told me the worker was sick. I guess there’s only one worker for PC Richards. It’s a monster company and they only have one appliance repair. Technician sounds funny to me and then when they cancel, you have to wait another week for a new technician, I give this company zero stars I will never buy again from them
