I was charged twice and also almost had my order delivered twice. But the lady who dealt with this problem sorted out.

I have shopped several times at Peter Tyson and every single time they customer service has always been absolutely excellent to say the least. With an excellent assortment of products, prices to choose from and a wealth of friendly professional advice available from the staff one couldn't ask for more. With the added benefit of price match, trade in, clearance ,free extended guarantee and free next day delivery, this is the place I will continue to shop for all my AV and Hi-fi equipment.

I recently purchased a MeacoCool MC Series Pro 10000 BTU portable air conditioner from Peter Tyson.

There were a few issues during the process, including delays obtaining stock updates, an initial invoice that referenced the wrong model, and a failed first delivery attempt due to the lift in my building being out of service. However, whenever I contacted customer services, they were responsive and helpful in resolving matters.

The team accommodated my request to change from the 9000 BTU model to the 10000 BTU version, confirmed the correct unit had been dispatched, and kept me updated when I raised concerns. The correct unit was ultimately delivered, and the delivery driver was very helpful in assisting with getting the unit upstairs.

Overall, I found Peter Tyson to be professional, competitively priced and customer-focused. While communication could have been a little more proactive at times, I was pleased with the way the issues were handled and would happily purchase from them again.

Bought a portable ac with next weekday delivery fee paid. No oroduct arrived for more than a week. Company did not deliver until i phoned them. Product recieved 2 days later after phoning them. Company did not offer to refund the 10pound next weekday delivery probably because i did not ask.

I recently purchased a Chord Qutest DAC from Peter Tyson and encountered an issue where a USB cable became stuck in the unit’s port, making it impossible to repack for return. From the moment I contacted them, Liam handled everything with patience, efficiency and professionalism throughout.

Despite the complications — including me being on holiday abroad at the time — Liam arranged an exchange, adjusted the collection date to suit my schedule, and even provided clear practical advice on how to package the unit safely given the cable issue. The turnaround was remarkably fast, with the unit reviewed and the cable successfully removed without any damage.

Communication was prompt, friendly and thorough at every stage. This is exactly the kind of after-sales service that makes a real difference, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from Peter Tyson again.
