Joe was very friendly, knowledgeable, and able to quickly deal with vicious ground-nesting wasps in our front garden, the day after I approached the company.

Joe called in the morning, to confirm the appointment, and again 30-40 minutes before his arrival, to let me know that he was on his way. He also left after-care instructions, to safeguard other wildlife from being harmed by the powder he used to eradicate the wasps. I would definitely use again.

A fast, friendly and efficient service was provided by Phil and Joe. They dealt with rats found in the garden quickly and gave good advise on keeping the garden free of pests. Amazing service. Thank you

Just when a problem with mice arises Phil and Joe put together a solution. Special service on Sunday meant a great deal with one of the family ill at the time. PGM has provided a friendly and highly effective pest control service on many occasions over the past three years. Their standards never drop. Dealing with mole, rat, mice and other issues over that time has been incredibly valuable. Thank you so much, Phil and Joe.

We have used PGM 3 times now, first with the extensive carpet beetle issue we found in our new house, a wasp nest, then a moths/woodlouse problem at a relatives home.
Each time Phil has been brilliant. He has been round to access and quote very quickly then back shortly after to treat. The pre and post treatment advice has been excellent and we are very confident that with his advice and experience each issue has been rectified.
PGM will continue to be my only contact for pest issues, and I will happily recommend him to others.

Joe, and the whole PGM team, are excellent and highly responsive. We use them at work, a mixed rambling establishment of houses, offices, sheds, a guesthouse and a monastery: they always come quickly when called out, identify the problem, deal with it and come back to check a few days later. They also provide a regular check which more than satisfies the local council's requirements.

We were shocked at how overpriced this service was. The charge after an hour’s visit to deal with a mice problem was £288. This was apparently for three visits, but is still extortionate. Since adding the review we have found open bait boxes on the floor, next to my baby’s pram and amongst food in our pantry. We asked the company to return to remove the bait, which they did. The owner blocked our car in on the drive with his van and refused to move it when asked, so a 5 year old girl missed part of her swimming lesson. He wasn’t bothered that blocking in a car was illegal. He also told us in the house that he was recording us and had recorded our phone calls. We pointed out that this was illegal. He threatened to retaliate and get nasty if we didn’t remove negative reviews. He then started a tirade on the doorstep, caught on Ring camera (I’d told him we have Ring by text message to try to prevent any nastiness, but he had obviously forgotten when his anger took control), telling my partner to leave me and saying that he was tracking me on Facebook. This evening my partner discovered rat poison scattered around our house and floor from the open bait stations. Some of it was directly where my one year old stood today before I put her in her pram. I’m now paranoid she might have ingested some and scared that however thorough our vacuuming we might not get it all.

I started getting bites but was unsure what they were or what to do about them. Fortunately, the company I got in contact with was PGM & Son Pest Control Limited. Phil is a true professional who really knows his trade well. The level of service he provided was first class, both in terms of practical advice and also reassurance. I would certainly use the company again should the need arise, and I highly recommend them for any pest control issues.

We suffered from a flea infestation along with covid. Not a pleasant experience! Phil gave practical advice and was on hand to fumigate the whole house at the earliest opportunity. As he pointed out, the fleas don't just go away they hang around for another couple of weeks until all the larvae are destroyed. Finally, we are free of the little devils. PGM's work was first class throughout and we would highly recommend them.

Absolutely outstanding! Time was taken to explain to me in detail what needed to be done and how to prevent problems in the future. I was even given help with my furniture which was very much appreciated. Very discreet! I recommend this company totally.

Squirrels nested and damaged the lighting cable in our dormer bungalow roof. A reassuring phone call to PGM led to prompt action. Glen, a very experienced technician, calmly asked all the right questions, located the access point on the roof, took action, explained the potential outcomes, planned a follow-up visit and left a contact number in case of difficulty.

Squirrel activity continued. So, Glen took further action, reassured us that support would continue until the problem was dealt with, then planned another visit. Problem solved! No squirrel activity. Glen secured the access point and assured us of support if the problem recurred.

A little late in writing this review due to illness in the family but just wanted to say how good the whole team were from the moment we made contact until they completed the clearence of old insulation and thorough cleaning of our loft. Very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and amiable throughout.
