Squirrels nested and damaged the lighting cable in our dormer bungalow roof. A reassuring phone call to PGM led to prompt action. Glen, a very experienced technician, calmly asked all the right questions, located the access point on the roof, took action, explained the potential outcomes, planned a follow-up visit and left a contact number in case of difficulty.

Squirrel activity continued. So, Glen took further action, reassured us that support would continue until the problem was dealt with, then planned another visit. Problem solved! No squirrel activity. Glen secured the access point and assured us of support if the problem recurred.

Excellent professional expertise, excellent customer care and value for money.

A little late in writing this review due to illness in the family but just wanted to say how good the whole team were from the moment we made contact until they completed the clearence of old insulation and thorough cleaning of our loft. Very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and amiable throughout.

Glen came out to do a woodworm survey after a big, well known company had come out and quoted a high price.

Glen stayed an hour and looked at all the areas finding....zero woodworm, and only one small area of historical woodworm!

In doing so he saved me wasting thousands on a treatment I didn't need!

Honest, kind and lots of advice. Very happy!

Phil and the team did an outstanding job. They worked through the hottest days ever in the UK - flat out, no breaks - to get everything done. Clean, tidy, focused, charming, friendly, professional and helpful. Nothing was a problem and I can't recommend them too highly.

The survey of a house we were hoping to purchase revealed a potential vermin infestation in the loft. We called Phil in to survey the loft and identify what the problem was. Phil was very approachable and knowledgeable. He carried out a survey, laid bait to trap any vermin and was able to report back that it was an historic problem and there was nothing that would prevent the purchase of the property moving forward. A very sound investment in Phil's services!

Phil and his team did an excellent job of treating the woodworm in our rafters, as well as getting rid of the wasp infestation in our eaves. We also employed Phil and team to replace the insulation in our loft, and they did an equally stellar job of that. Phil's team went above and beyond to also help us fill a skip with rubbish we had in the house after just moving in. Great work all round! :-)

Phil came this morning as agreed. He was extremely helpful and efficient. He did a thorough assessment (finding evidence of squirrel and rat infestation) and will make a follow up visit - included in his fee - before the end of the year.

Having just moved into a house in June this year, the surveyor pointed out the prospect of rats in the loft and contaminated loft insulation that would probably need replacing. Having found PGM & Son via Google, I ended up speaking to Phil, who couldn't have been more helpful. Even though we were technically out of his range, he still agreed to visit us and take a look. Upon arriving though, he realised the problem was bats rather than rats, which completely changed the dynamic of the situation. Realising there was no need for pest control in this instance, he refused to take any money (despite the travel) and then offered lots of helpful advice about bats and what we could do. Really pleasant and professional to deal with, Phil also offered reassuring advice about the bats. Would highly recommend!
