Priceline is a greedy

Priceline is a greedy, unapologetic company that takes advantage of people. I accidentally booked the wrong dates for my hotel - 1 week early. I noticed immediately and tried to change it. I was on the phone with them for 2 hours. The hotel was totally fine with it. Priceline would NOT change my reservation and KEPT my $1000. They are awful. I would have been fine paying a fee or something, but they just kept it all. In a time when the world sucks - priceline sucks right along with it.

I used Priceline to get a lower rate…

I used Priceline to get a lower rate for a rental car for my 85 yr old husband for a week, specifically requesting pickup & drop off location as Bend, OR. Throughout the process there was NO indication that the pickup location had changed to Redmond, OR - 30 miles away. I paid with a credit card, and only then learned that the reservation was not able to be canceled and that it was out of Redmond. My husband will have no way to pick up or return the car. They only give a courtesy transport within 10 miles of their airport location. I was able to call the car rental company at the airport. Turns out it was Hertz who stands behind their service. They thankfully canceled my reservation, and I will dispute the Priceline charges through my credit card company. I WILL NEVER USE ANY PRICELINE OFFER OR PRODUCT EVER AGAIN AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. This is a sleezy, sneaky, deceptive company and needs reigning in on its underhanded manner of failing to disclose every piece of relevant information for their transactions.

Nightmare trying to change a flight time just a few hours after ticket purchase

I booked a flight with 1 night’s hotel with Priceline for an amazingly low price—Fresno to Santa Barbara, Ca. Within 2 hours I saw there was a mistake in my departing flight time (Not sure whose fault) I tried to correct the flight on line (their website said I could) but that didn’t work. I called customer service (30 minute wait time) and was told they could adjust the flight time, then after re-routing me to 3 other people Priceline said I’d have to cancel the entire booking and start over. So I started over, found the same excellent deal, and just as I was finalizing the reservation up came a prompt showing me the Priceline price for the package had doubled. I gave up and used United airline miles for my flight and Hotels.com for the hotel. The next morning I checked Priceline and the package they tried to double the price on me in the middle of the previous night’s booking was now back to the original bargain price. What a racket. No help with customer service and then some computer algorithm sees me trying to book the same package and doubles its rate. To be fair I hadn’t had a problem with Priceline before on the few times I used them.

Outstanding Service

Priceline Team,

I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service I received from Korbin. After two months of challenges, repeated calls, and ongoing frustration trying to resolve issues related to a $24,000 booking for my clients, Korbin stepped in and completely changed the experience.

From the moment he became involved, he demonstrated professionalism, patience, and genuine compassion. He took ownership of the situation, followed through on every detail, and ensured that every outstanding issue was resolved — right up to the very last minute. His dedication and consistency were truly remarkable.

In an industry where customer service can make or break long‑term relationships, Korbin stands out as an extraordinary asset to your organization. His kindness, integrity, and commitment to doing what is right reflect the highest standard of service. Because of him, I will continue to do business with Priceline on a large scale and with full confidence.

Please extend my gratitude to Korbin for his outstanding support. Employees like him elevate your brand and create loyal partners.

Sincerely, Divo Fab Travel

We rented a car through Priceline and it was a disaster

We rented a car through Priceline. The local company here in Brazil is Movida.
On our way back to return the car we got a flat tire.
It turned out that all the tires were nearly bald. We lost time changing the tire and driving slow, because the spare tire was a doughnut, and not a real tire.
We were charged $150 for a new tire and for the extra time it took to get there. WTF
We bought FULL insurance from Priceline at the time of renting the car, and it covered nothing! ... and Priceline has not gotten back to us either.

Worst representatives and supervisors they will not help

This company won't improve because people like Priceline cater to the car rental companies. The cars are junk and fees get added on when you show up for the car. I was told I had to put ins on the car, later I found out that I didn't.. I was rented a car with 2 different colored headlights that only illuminated 2 feet in front of the car. The light were facing down. It was a dangerous situation. In stead of bringing us another car they wanted us to drive it back to them. I came here because my Mom passed away and I needed to be with my family 2 hours away. That would have taken 4 hours away from my family. I made a complaint and was told there was nothing they would do about it. Offered be a 10% coupon that I will never use. I will never use this company again.

Took my money, offered zero help when it mattered

I booked and prepaid for a rental car through Priceline. When I arrived at the Alamo counter in Atlanta on March 7, they told me they had no cars available and could not fulfill my reservation.

So I paid for a service that was never delivered.

When I reached out to Priceline, they refused to help. Instead of stepping in to resolve a clear failure, they hid behind policy and left me to deal with it on my own.

If you’re going to act as the middleman and take payment, you should also take responsibility when things go wrong.

I will not be using Priceline again.

Worst ever

I booked a package deal flight, hotel, and rental a month before to Vegas. Had no problems with the flight or rental. Got to the hotel and there was no reservation. When I called Priceline I was informed I didn't confirm. I never received a email to confirm, then I was later told by them it was a mistake on their behalf. They over booked the hotel that's why I didn't get the email. I was NEVER notified about it. Now I'm miles away from home with nowhere to stay because its spring break in Vegas. The hotel i pick told me they had room that Priceline could have done a prepaid one time card and got a room. The guy Chris from Priceline had lied and told me they wouldn't take a prepaid card. Priceline tried to put me in the worst hotels ever. I ended up just getting a refund which take days to get back. So I had to pay another 700 something for the room. Flight landed at 8 am and I didn't get a room til after 5 pm. This was my first and last time using Priceline. I call them 4 different times and asked for a supervisor they would never let me speak with one. The worst ever.

When things go wrong

Priceline and its sister app Booking.com took my money, didn’t book my hotel room then refused to reimburse me. Negotiating with them was impossible, even disputing the claim through my credit card is onerous (ongoing). I wouldn’t even give them one star for the terrible service I received and the lack of assistance to resolve the issue. In my opinion, when things go wrong with this company, they wear you down so hopefully you give up and they keep your money

Never again booking through PRICELINE!

I had to give one star but if I could give 0 I would don’t book a hotel with these people they will not give you a refund if for some reason you can’t make it you’ll lose your money. After you book your stay that’s when you actually see the terms and conditions and that’s when you actually see that the money is not refundable, they make it the hotels fault but you actually call the hotel and they tell you they tell all guests that because they don’t want to lose commission but there’s nothing they can do because you prepaid through a third party which is PRICELINE. Never again.

I booked a car through Priceline

I booked a car through Priceline, but at the last minute the rental company called me to say they prioritize other customers and not Priceline bookings.
Priceline told me they couldn't do anything for me. I ended up without a car and no real solution, only a refund. Very bad experience and no real support at all.

Priceline charged me $118.93 PER TICKET! For the 7 passengers I booked an airline ticket for. That is $832.51 for ONE reservation. I had no idea I was being charged this on top of the airline tickets until a statement was sent to my email. Priceline did not indicate this extra charge would occur.

Will no longer be using Priceline.

Have used Priceline a lot in the past but will no longer spend any more money thru them. I rented a car, purchased insurance and booked a hotel this past month. Hertz rental car company charged me for insurance even thou I told them I had it thru priceline and they didn't even inform me of it. I guess that insurance wasn't sufficient enough (that's what priceline said from their investigation into me getting a refund). Then Priceline shouldn't be selling it! I complained and was told by Hertz to get a refund from Priceline for their insurance. Priceline denied the refund for their insurance so I will take my business elsewhere.
