PDC is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Ground rent was £300 only. But when I got their water damaged letter in the mail with a bill over £700, I contacted them straight away. You know what they did, the bill became almost £900? I wanted to reason with them, but I was threatened with more fees if I didn’t agree to pay within a couple days. I wanted to make a complaint to their managers, but I was not given the chance. Luckily, I found this site today by accident. And i want to voice my anger at this unprofessional/unethical company. They don’t deserve even one star. They don’t even allow Landmark collections to take my payment. They should close their offices.

So incompetent this company, tried getting me to pay them £541 when I had already paid my ground management rent, rang several times and had to wait over 1 hour for someone to answer, then they agreed I had paid and was closing the account. Only to send another bill a week later demanding more money, the ground management company RMG have also emailed them several times to close the account only to no avail. Absolutely useless

I first contacted PDC on 19/04/2023 as I had been informed by our property management company that our case had been passed to them and the only way to make payment was via them. PDC had received the case on 31/03/2023 but had not yet been in contact. When I called and spoke with an advisor I was informed that a letter was being sent that day and that I should email in my dispute regarding the issues we had been facing. I emailed in and never received a response until I chased for a response 3 weeks later. My email was completely ignored and the points i raised in dispute were not addressed. I replied to the email disputing this and have to date (two weeks later) not yet received a response. I received an email 9 days ago with a letter attached stating payment needed to be made within 10 days. The letter had incorrect information on it, and it also stated the incorrect amount owed. I emailed back straight away and 9 days later I have still not had a reply. As today is the last day, I will be calling, but the service provided is the worst I have ever experienced. I have been trying to settle the payment in full (including 6 months in advance) since the beginning of April. And we are now two months down the line and I am no closer to settling the debt. There have been sleepness nights, undue stress and worry caused, no wonder this company has the rating it does on Trust Pilot.

Ridiculous and unprofessional…
Received a letter from PDC after our estate management company failed to communicate charges with us. We disputed the additional charges and were told the matter would be investigated and they would be in touch. 3 months later received a threatening phone call saying I hadn’t responded to them despite not hearing a thing back. Was told I had been sent 3 emails, checked all the way back through junk folder and low and behold the dodgiest looking email I have ever seen in my life. £240 in charges for two dodgy emails that went straight to junk. No letters no voicemails nothing. Employees seem to have an attitude and really couldn’t care less what you’re saying. Probably a bunch of kids wfh calling themselves ‘account managers’ anyway debt is now settled as we were literally left with no choice and threatened with further escalation. Already made a complaint via email awaiting response but again… nothing.

Charlotte you are extremely right. This company is really unprofessional. I spoke to them on the 18th of May about the same issue, they advised me to send an email and gave an address, which I did. Waited and did not even receive and acknowledgment. Sent a chaser on the 22nd May and to date I am yet to receive a reply. Since then I have been on the phone to them for more than 4 hours at time a day and no one picks up. RMG is equally not helpful, they have passed my account to a company that will not communicate with me to resolve to find a solution, but they say it is my sole responsibility to keep trying until someone feels so sorry to reply to me.

Horrible people. I have paid 3x the debt since on the 3rd of May and today is 26th of May and yet they have not transferred the £2470 to the rightful people to clear my name. They are evil and will intentionally hold onto your money for reasons best known to them.

Apparently i owed £160 to RMG, I wasn’t aware of this I have been paying monthly. RMG changed me to paperless which in never agreed and now PDC want £1009 over £800 in fees, how is this even legal.
They keep referring to RMG as my landlord yet I’m freehold and it’s just for them to mow a few patches of grass, they have now applied to my mortgage provider to take over my freehold. Absolutely disgusting company, who just says you have no dispute.

PDC claim they said letters but I’ve only received one, funnily enough the one demanding £1009 and serving me a section 121
This is now with my MP and FOS. I’ve got 5 days to pay before they take me to court.

They show no understanding or empathy, they are nothing more than bullies, RMG are also saying it was £347 debt not £160 like PDC claim, I’ve offered to pay the original debt but not the excessive fees but they have said no it will be court

This company is a joke.
They wrote to me 14 March re Service Charge debt.
I have tried phoning them ever since. NO answer.
I just cannot believe this joke company is still in business.
I have recorded my attempts to phone them to present to the judge at Court.

I MISSED MY RMG PAYMENT BY ONE MONTH, I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM PDC ADDING ON £383 TO THEIR BILL!!

PLEASE DO NOT PAY A PENNY TO THESE COMPANIES. IF POSSIBLE, PAY RMG DIRECTLY VIA BANK TRANSFER.

THEY CONTINUE TO THREATEN WITH LETTERS AND EMAILS SO I HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THEM

I owed £145.07 for service charges to RMG, however I forgot to pay so they added £40 on for a reminder letter. I paid the £185.07 to RMG, however I got an email from PDC stating they had contacted me via post (I didn’t receive)
Today I’ve had a letter from PDC demanding £899.07!!!
I’ve just sent a complaint email and will contact the FOS. How can this “company” be allowed to operate like this! Surely it’s illegal?
A loan shark wouldn’t have the cheek to put these extortionate charges on!
RMG are complicit in this extortion!!

Absolute sham, one the phone to them on hold for 10 mins and they just cut me off. No option to use a automated payment

I contacted PDC nearly one month ago asking for confirmation that they had received my payment as it was over £3000. I have sent over half a dozen follow up emails and still no response. They say their values and aim is to provide a 'Professional and Efficient' service - I have never experienced this. They know I suffer with high anxiety and I've pleaded with them to respond in order to put my mind at rest, but they simply ignore me.

This review isn't for this company. This 5 star rating is for Francesca, she was very helpful and quick and professional in dealing with my case. She told me that she was going to remove charges as the company hasn't proceeded with actions yet. I know I owed money and was happy to pay. Her honesty saved my alot of money. PDC with all your poor reviews I think you need more staff like Francesca

Absolutely awful company. The charges they added to my account and clearly many others is extortionate. I am very concerned that they are doing this to many people. I have complained several times to Katherine Bye on the email address PDC advise.
I think the responses from PDC to all of their complaints on Trustpilot speaks volumes. I strongly suggest all unfortunate customers being charged excessive charges by PDC escalate their experience through all possible outlets. I am escalating to a solicitor and my MP. I also suggest we all request that the FCA review the position of this company being on their registered list. I am sure local and national press will also be interested in the activities of PDC.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was contacted via my mortgage provider to say that I owed money to Property Debt Collection Ltd. I then emailed the property Debit Collection company. They responded by email to say call the office to make payment. "I didn't know what amount they were asking for nor did I know what it was for. Some 3 weeks later, no emails, no response to my complaints via their complaints procedure. I am now in touch with the Financial Ombudsmand and my Solicitor. I am completely in Dispair, don't know where to turn. I just don't want to wake up in a morning : ( How dare they not speak or respond to emails.

I've had the misfortune of having to deal with this ridiculous company since April, the icing on the cake has been threatening legal action unless payment was made in less than 30 hours. They believed that I had not paid (despite evidence to the contrary) any payments at all. It soon transpired that they had provided the incorrect address to the debt management company I was using.
Complaints have been issued in line with their complaints process and I'm awaiting a response before escalating to the FCA.

Apparently regulated by the FCA. I would strongly urge the FCA to investigate and I will pursue this also. Unexplained fees, I missed a payment by a month for services until March 2023!! Missed payment was for 108! Pdc charged an extra £360 to effectively send one letter. Shocking. I am also fca regulated and work in FS. If we were to do that we would be investigated and fined and told to fix. How is it they are fca authorised and can do this??? Safe to say I am not paying the ridiculous fees and have reported it. I am by the service of this company. I had an issue with my property which was being debated between RMG and the builders my account was meant to be put on hold which wasn’t my fault that the customer service agent did not do. I then receive a letter from this company, PDR, we are questing a payment for the outstanding amount plus an additional two had over £200 for their fees which cannot be justified. There has been ongoing communication with them but they do not listen to you. They can’t justify anything that they have sent out to me even over messages. I’ve spent hours on phone calls asking for copies of conversations which I then have to put in writing which they never get back to me. It is an abysmal company and they should be appalled at their selves.

I had never disputed the amount I had just refused to pay it until my issue was resolved such as living with rats in the wall which came in via a common area in which our MGs are in control off

PDR debt collection is horrific, absolutely horrific, terrible communication. I’m justifying fees, terrible terrible terrible company. I wish I could take them to court for their professional etiquette, lack of communication and just poor service.
