Knowledgeable, responsive, Professional

The team at Pro Sound Gear helped me with a question I had regarding some sond system connections. Even though I am in Canada and they are based in the United States, (Miami) they responded quickly and efficiently.

Through WhatsApp, which was very convenient, they provided the information I needed within minutes.

I found them on Facebook, they appeared very professional, so I decided to contact them directly. I received a response almost immediately and they solved my issue without any complications.
Five stars. If I could give more, I would.

Scammer?!?!

Do not buy from this company. They will try to rip you off! Read the other 1 star reviews!

Purchased an item from them through Amazon. They sent the wrong item. Saw that as soon as the box was opened. Immediately contacted Amazon who arranged a return. The company charged a $172 “restocking fee” because the item was “used.” Never removed it from the plastic! Went around and around with them. Finally went back to Amazon who refunded the full amount. Apparently, if they don’t have the item they send the wrong one and make money on the “restocking fee.” Scammers! Do not ignore the 1 star reviews. Avoid at all cost!

Our records show that the item returned to us was not the same model that was originally shipped, and it arrived opened and marked as used, which is why a standard restocking fee was automatically applied. This process is handled by Amazon’s system and is not something we apply manually or arbitrarily.

That said, once you contacted Amazon, they reviewed the case and issued a full refund — which we fully supported. We never charge customers for items returned in new and unused condition, and we do not benefit in any way from shipping incorrect products.

We take customer satisfaction seriously, and we encourage anyone with an issue to contact us directly so we can resolve it quickly and fairly.

I purchased from this company

I purchased from this company, they do not stand behind the product they sell after 30 days you are on your own. I purchased a speaker and the battery is defective. They won’t do anything they told me to call the manufacturer manufacturer, not responding. I’m out of all my money. suggestion don’t buy anything from these people.

Fraudalent and misleading

This company is very misleading. An item listed as in stock on there website was not actually in stock at the time of order. Contacted company after 2 days of seeing the item in process. Contacted them via email and was told the following:

There is no estimated time of arrival, but we might be receiving our next shipment within 1-3 weeks or sooner.

I told them if they can’t provide a ship date to cancel order and provide a refund.

Then I was told:

This is possible that when we have it back in stock there will be a difference in the price at that time. I just want you to know this at first. If you still want to cancel and refund your order kindly guide me. However, you will get this at the same price if you wait.

This makes no sense to me. What kinda company is this. How can they stay in business. Should be able to cancel the order and provide a refund since they don’t know when they will receive a shipment.

I recommend not doing any web order business with this company!

Don’t waste your time or money

Don’t waste your time or money. They can’t be trusted. I returned an item and they charged me a $300 restock fee deeming it was used. I returned it in the same condition as I received it. I read bad reviews but chose to give them a chance. What scammers.

Stay Away at All Costs!

Don’t be lured by good prices and no tax. They will send you a B-Stock, force you to pay for return, and issue a partial refund, without any explanation. -20% if you are lucky.

We never ship B-Stock or used items unless they are clearly labeled as such at the time of purchase. All new items are shipped factory-sealed directly from our warehouse or from the manufacturer.

Regarding returns, we follow the same standard policies used across the industry:

Items returned opened or not in original condition may be subject to a restocking fee

Customers always receive a full refund when the product is returned in new, unused, and complete condition

We never “force” a partial refund — any deductions are based on Amazon/marketplace guidelines or the condition in which the item was returned

We are fully committed to being transparent and fair with every customer, and we encourage anyone with a concern to contact us directly so we can resolve it quickly and professionally.

"EASY return" policy fradulent…

Purchased a mixer at the beginning of this month to be used in a theater show. The mixer on two occasions had USB issues and created a catastrophic event where there was no audio during in the middle of the performance on two separate days. Reported to Mackie and they said that likely the PC board is the problem. Told by Mackie get a replacement from ProSoundGear. You can only email someone about issues, no live person. Over 13 email exchanges with James Grene at PSG stating that I need to prove that there is a problem with the mixer for them to warranty or return mixer. Sent them a video when the audio crashed during the performance (obviously was not video of the actual iPad mixer- just the loss of audio), but that was insufficient for them and they blamed that it could be human error. Okay, so, I how am I to prove that there is a problem when it is a glitch in the mixer? Decided at that point to return the mixer based upon their Satisfaction Guarantee refund policy. They state that I will have to pay a restocking fee for the unit (which could be 15 to 30%)! Website clearly states that if I return the product in like new condition with all materials, packaging and no evidence of damage that I should not receive a restocking policy however they are not backing down on restocking. Situation is still currently under dispute with them and I may change this rating based upon the outcome. Warning, their Easy Return Policy is untrue. I just want them to deal with this fairly and understand that this mixer is not working properly and either send a replacement or allow me to return it for a full refund.

UPDATE: Requested a RMA and seems like they are ghosting me with no response. Read other reviews about how items get returned and they claim it's not resalable (when buyers says it was like new) so they charge a restocking fee (up to 30%).

In any case their EASY Return policy is already proven to be frauduluent.

1. Product malfunction / warranty review
When a unit appears to have a performance issue, we are required—by both manufacturer and industry standards—to verify the problem before processing a warranty replacement. This ensures that:

The correct failure is documented

The manufacturer honors the replacement

The customer does not experience the same issue with a new unit

The information and video provided did not allow us (or the manufacturer) to confirm a hardware-related failure, and additional documentation was required as part of the warranty process.

2. Satisfaction Guarantee / Return Policy
Our return policy states that items returned in like-new condition with original packaging and no signs of use are eligible for a full refund without a restocking fee.

However, mixers that have been used in live shows or professional environments cannot be resold as new, and therefore fall under our used/open-box category—this is why a restocking fee was disclosed.

This policy is standard among all major pro-audio retailers and aligns with manufacturer guidelines.

3. Communication / RMA Status
We do not “ghost” customers. If there has been any delay in responding, we truly apologize. We receive a high volume of messages during certain periods, but every RMA request is reviewed and responded to. We are currently continuing to work on your case to reach a fair resolution.

4. Our commitment to fairness
We have never refused to honor our return policy or a valid warranty claim when proper documentation is provided. Our goal is always to support the customer, follow the proper procedures, and ensure that any defective product is handled appropriately.
