Needed a new tyre for my failed MOT
Needed a new tyre for my failed MOT. Took a visit on a Friday morning to Protyre in Alcester with the intention of getting a new tyre fitted the following Monday thinking they would need to order the tyre etc. Protyre Alcester managed to fit me in the same day of my initial visit on the Friday and my car passed the MOT the same day. Quick, friendly and a reliable service.

Not great air con regas experience
Completed an air-con re gas without properly testing the system. Resulting in a 40 degree, 8 hr return journey to Wales. Drove the car 20 miles to get it looked at only be told that the equipment was faulty and they’d just refund me (and yes they could have told me that when I called!). Then it took over about 3 weeks and phone calls to receive the refund… not great really.

The team were really nice and helpful…
The team were really nice and helpful but the reason i have given lower star rating is one of the wheel nuts were put in incorrectly snd was wonky whick i did not see until i hit home. i had to drive back to the garage immediately to get this rectified.

Battery Low message not resolved.
I went to Protyre for a check on my battery because a “low battery” message was being displayed" in my car. After they fitted a new battery I drove home only to discover the “low battery” message was still being displayed. I went back to Protyre but they were unable to resolve the problem. I have contacted the manufacturer but they can not perform a diagnostic test on the car for four weeks. I will not be able to comment further until the diagnostic test has been performed.

I had to phone several times before any PERSON answered the phone which is a weakness in the service and people may go elsewhere

Helpful and efficient at all times.
Helpful and polite at all times on the phone, gave me excellent advice on tyres to suit my car, and offered me a slot to fit the tyres within the following hour. Work was done with no waiting and the 3 tyres completed within the estimated 45 minutes. Very pleased and impressed with their service. I would definitely use them again.
