Booking process easy and price reasonably competitive. On the day it took a very long time beyond appointed time to start the job. 2 of 3 advisories were spurious and motivation behind them questionnable (E.g. Brake discs worn at 3000miles). Will avoid in future.

Excellent service
Despite it being the Saturday of the Bank Holiday weekend and being a walk in the lads were brilliant and had two new tyres fitted in jig time. Excellent service, friendly and efficient team and a half decent freebie coffee! Thanks guys.

Mot, and brake fluid change
Booking online, good price, and kept informed, initially was told a lower foglight was not working, but when I got there to collect car, they had got it working, some garages would have wanted to fit a replacement.

Excellent customer service from Phil!
We had a slow puncture and tried to get this fixed at another garage in Carlisle without success together with a great deal of frustration. We should of gone to Gates Tyres as we have done previously. Problem was fixed within half an hour - Thank you Phil for your professionalism and great customer service.

Appointment times pointless
For the second time, car wasn't looked at for over an hour after booked time. Was told 3 vehicles booked online at same time and I was after them. I too booked online, 2 days previously.2 tyres, left at 5pm! So a 3.30 appointment ended up with me leaving as the last customer of the day. Previous time they 'forgot' my car, so another hour+ delay. Needs sorting.
