Protyre Autocare - Enfield Reviews 

Absolute pleasure dealing with ProTyre in Enfield recently.

I dropped my car in for its annual service, which is a really competitive price. At the desk, I asked for a (very) slow leak on one of the tyres to be investigated.

When I collected the car a couple of hours later, the slow leak had been forgotten about, which is understandable given I had only mentioned it when dropping off. I half expected to be given the brush off, but the team at Pro Tyre then took the time to investigate it, checking for punctures, taking the tyre off the rim, taking the wire wheel to the rim and then reseating and refilling the tyre - which has fixed the issue. I offered to pay for this - but was not charged anything!

To top it off, my four year old son was given a complimentary doughnut, which made his day!

All in all - seriously good, and old school service. Rare to find these days.

Had an awesome experience with the team at Protyre Enfield. They were very flexible with the support they offered and even managed to swap my tyre without having the right tool required to lift the front tyre.
So I would highly recommend them as a very customer focussed team.

Staff were friendly and they called to let me know what needed doing to the car and to tell me when it would be ready.

Booking a slot was easy online and the engineers were quick and efficient at changing both tyres. Not much interaction with the desk staff - they weren't particularly friendly, but they got the job done.

Staff were helpful and very professional .

Walking in prices expensive then Website booking price... Robery when walk in and very rude manager...

I went to do wheel alignment they said 60 when I checked online much cheaper but they said that is different business they change me 60 instead of 43

Enfield protyre

Fundamentally disorganised. Person running the front desk was all over the place and kept saying it was "busy". In the 5 hours and 17 mins I was there, only about 14 customers attended.

I booked my appointment in advance for NOON - Friday August 8th. I had booked Protyre as they had a good discounted "Air Con Top Up" offer on Groupon. I decided to get two further jobs completed on my vehicle at the same time.

I arrived on the day, slightly late, 12:10, due to local traffic on the adjacent A10. On arrival I introduced myself, gave the Front of Desk gentlemen my key, explained what I wanted doing again, that I was slightly late and the parts I wanted replacing were in the vehicle. I took my seat, for what I was told was approximately 2 hours of labour and waited.

After many several customers who had come in after me were attended to before and and had Ieft, at approximately 13:50, I asked the Front of Desk worker, I believe he was called Asif (apologies If I got his wrong) how much longer my car would be? He replied, it should be on the ramp in about 15 mins. I then interjected and remonstrated that it should be ready about 2pm and he said "NO, my appointment was at 2pm", which it wasn't, it was NOON. Why would anyone turn up 2 hours early to a garage and sit in a space with no cold drinks and waste so much of their own time time, God only knows???

There was no apology no offer of a discount, no real explanation, other than it was "BUSY". Utter nonsense. Time ticked by and no further updates were offered. At 16:30 I asked after my vehicle, and I was told it would be ready soon. At 17:10 (Just 4 hours after I arrived) I was told the vehicle was ready. AT 17:30 the car arrived back to the collection, area and I went to pay the bill. Out of the THREE jobs requested to be completed, only TWO were completed, the missing one being the air conditioning re-gas, the only reason I used Pro Tyre in the first place.

The car returned to the workshop. Unfortunately the re-gas did not work, due to a leak in my cars system and at approximately 17:50, (ONLY 5 AND A HALF HOURS AFTER ARRIVING)and I am being economical with the timing) I paid the bill and departed the premises.

There was NOT ONE WORD OF APOLOGY, there was no discount offered given the blatant mistake and waste of my time and the only explanation I got was that it was "busy", which really it wasn't and if they can't handle that level of business they really are in the wrong game.

Shocking Front Desk Management, not sure what medication the gentlemen was on, and his customer service was a shambles. He needs retraining and an education in admitting his mistakes and conciliation.

Great Tire Fitting Service, however when I arrived I was advised they didn't have the tires I ordered and I had to settle for different tires, also after I had driven away I noticed that the tire pressure light was on permanently.

Best place for wheel aligment. You get what you pay for.
