Protyre Faringdon …
I have been using Protyre Faringdon for approx 10years. The staff are friendly and happy to help when they can. I feel as an older alone lady that the staff always are honest and give me good advice that I can trust which is very important as I rely on their honesty. All the staff are nice but I especially feel that Gavin goes beyond what is expected from a staff member. I recently was given a free voucher for a MOT from another company but still choose to come to protyre. I always have a service,mot and this time also my A/C was serviced.

The overall service was good but slow…
The overall service was good but slow probably due to the heat and they were busy, I had a 3.30 appointment but wasn't seen until 4.15, apart from that the staff were helpful and informative. I'd booked in for two tyres but was told that the slow puncture was reparable Which was a bonus they could have just fitted new.

Our tyre fitting was booked and paid for through Asda Tyres at Protyre Autocare Faringdon. We arrived for the confirmed appointment after a one-hour round trip, only to be told the garage was too busy to fit the tyres and that we should come back next week.
That is unacceptable. A customer should not be given a confirmed fitting appointment, make the journey, arrive on time then be turned away because the garage is too busy.
This wasted our fuel, wasted our Saturday morning and left us without the tyre fitting we had booked. We were then expected to come back another week, creating even more inconvenience and cost.
Very poor service from Protyre Autocare Faringdon. If they cannot honour booked appointments, those slots should not be accepted in the first place.

Reliable, fair and transparent service from these guys at the Faringdon Branch. Have been using them for many years now and have always been grateful for the level of service. Not trying to upsell anything or scare you in to work that is not needed. They simply do their jobs very well.

Get some AC or at least a fan!!!
Member of staff that greeted us was pleasant and told us of the time it would take. We wandered off and called back to wait the last 15mins or so in their reception/waiting area. Being a hot day this was not pleasant as AC is not, or seems, available in this greenhouse!! Neither is water unless you want it in a hot drink. Work completed was good as was the price but I really hope it's a colder day when I go back!!
