Went online looking at tyre prices, good selection available with all the info required to choose.
Booked online for later that day, very simple process and not too long.
On arrival everything was sorted out with 2 tyres and tracking done within one hour.
Very polite and helpful staff.

Easy to order
Easy to order, work was done in the timescale promised and the local cafe served a great coffee and bacon roll.
Price was good for the tyres and the discount for the tracking was very helpful.
Reception team were friendly too.

Poor customer service and questionable advice
I booked online for two new front tyres, front wheel alignment and an air conditioning regas.
When I dropped the car off, I was told by the receptionist that swapping the part-worn rear tyres to the front axle and fitting the new tyres to the rear "isn't done anymore". This surprised me, as it appears to contradict Protyre's own published safety guidance, which recommends fitting the newest tyres to the rear axle where possible.
I then received a call only about an hour later to say the car was ready. When I collected it, I was told the air conditioning system had a leak and would need to be inspected by an air conditioning specialist. Although I understood there was a leak, I expected the regas to provide at least some cooling. Instead, the system was only blowing warm air.
When I questioned this, the technician told me they knew the air conditioning wasn't going to work properly but carried out the regas anyway because I had already paid for it online. I found this very disappointing. If it was already known that the service would not achieve the intended result, I believe I should have been contacted and given the option before the work was carried out. After I raised my concerns they agreed to refund the £75 for the regas.
Overall, I felt the level of advice and customer service fell well below what I expected. The contradictory advice about tyre fitting and carrying out work they knew was unlikely to be successful left me with the impression that convenience was prioritised over customer care.
Update – 21 August: Following my original review, Protyre acknowledged my complaint and advised that a manager would contact me to discuss the issues raised. This was on 3 August. I have still received no phone call or further contact, despite being told that someone would get in touch.
I have now been waiting 18 days for the promised follow-up. Unfortunately, this has only added to my disappointment with the overall customer service and won't be using them again.
