Protyre’s service and repair facility is first class and it is more than just MOTs and general servicing, Protyre undertakes major mechanical repairs as I discovered. Excellent service for classic car
I have a 1975 MGB and needed front wheel tracking. Not all places are capable or willing to tackle older cars Protyre Micheldever did a good job and even made sure the steering wheel straight on position was corrected. I have also ised them for buying inner tubes and tyres as well as balancing wire wheels.

I have been a trade customer of protyre at various locations for at least 20 years and obtained discounts. Now im over 70 years old and obviously dont repair as many vehicles, but i find my trade status and customer loyalty counts for nothing for discounts. Loyal traders should be remembered.

Fitting of 2 new tyres was perfectly but…
Fitting of 2 new tyres was perfectly fine. However, when doing the balancing the battery was flattened and the on-screen displays were completely messed up. I was initially told I might need to get the car towed but after about 10 minutes they got it going. They said the battery could’ve been drained when the tracking was being done.
After I’d left I took it my local garage and they suggested a new battery which I agreed to. They also spent an hour diagnosing and fixing my displays. In reality I accept I’d have needed a battery sooner rather than later but I certainly wouldn’t have needed to get the displays diagnosed and fixed.

they didn’t finish the job and…
they didn’t finish the job and reconnect so 2 days later a orange warning light came on for all three new tyre which was scaring. lucky my local garage knew what to do i have never had that experience before!!
