Failed repair
Went initially for a puncture repair (screw in tyre) but tyre deflated 2 days later. Took it back - they checked but said could not find any issues. Advised they had tightened valve. Tyre deflated again. Returned and advised could not do anything else other than new tyre! I was not advised this would be at a cost but the manager apparently said it would be at cost. Tyre had lots of tread. Very disappointed. Been going to Jim Jeffries and now Protire for over 25 years. Will be going elsewhere from now on.

"I booked a free suspension check on 22…
"I booked a free suspension check on 22 May 2025 and was told everything was fine. I trusted their check fully, but when my MOT came up on 15 September, the car failed due to a serious rear shock leak. If they had told me back in May, I would have replaced it straight away and avoided wasting time and paying for a second MOT. Very disappointed with the lack of thoroughness."

Spoke to 4 different people
Spoke to 4 different people, called into the garage twice before the works and still didn’t have a reservation booked when we arrived. Agreed the price on the Tuesday which was written down for me and then my wife was quoted £50 more! Received a call to say car was ready but the team can’t completed the Aircon recharge so wasn’t ready. All the issues were resolved eventually but not the usual efficient service we would normally receive from Jeffries.

Warrington branch. MOT booked online, when I got to the garage they said the machine was broken so they couldn’t do the test and it would be repaired later in the afternoon and to return the next day, this I did and it was still not working. I as led for a refund, they said they would arrange it, it took over two weeks for the refund and only after two reminders, they also said the Area Manager would contact me to explain why the problem had occurred and why I hadn’t been contacted to cancel my appointment so I wouldn’t have wasted an afternoon and also to see why the refund hadn’t been actioned, I was never contacted. I have used Protyre for both our cars for years but since there appears to be new management the service has deteriorated rapidly, I will not be using them again.

A total farce, will never use again.
Had a 8.30am appointment for 2 new tyres. Arrived at 8.20am to be told that the member of staff with the keys was going to be late. A man who has the business next door was already complaining about cars blocking his entrance and he made it clear that this seemed to be a regular occurrence. At 8.50am a guy turned up to unlock, He did not apologize to anybody! It was total chaos for the next 2 hours with at least 2 customers demanding their money back. It was after 10.30am before my tyres were fitted. Needless to say I would never use this company again. It was a total farce!!!

Really poor service
Really poor service. I would recommend the warrington branch is avoided at all costs. Customers sat in the branch despite no staff on the desk. Then tyres damaged on fitting. No alternative provided days after. Customer services still not provided a refund. My view is to avoid at all costs.

Booked a free aircon checkup online, picked a date and time that worked for me. Arrived on the day a bit before the due time. I advised what the issues were with the aircon. My car was promptly checked, aircon was topped up. Great staff, great communication throughout the whole process.
