A mechanic was ready and waiting to fit a new tyre after I was escorted by the AA to the garage, following a rip to a tyre and emergency repair. Excellent service all round. Thank you.

Don’t use this company
Don’t use this company. I took my car in for a puncture and to check a front tyre. After inspection the mechanic told the man on reception the puncture could be repaired and the front tyre was an advisory. He waited for 10 minutes and then told me I needed 2 new tyres. I took it elsewhere and the puncture was fixed and told that the front tyre was in limits for an MOT. Avoid like the plague.

I phoned them the afternoon before and the wilmslow branch booked me in for the following morning. I was offered a range of different tyres and given a fab saving of £40 per tyre!
Efficient, skilled service and friendly manner from the mechanics too.

A good experience taking my car for an MOT recently. Easy to book, reception guy at the MOT place was friendly. MOT tester completed the job and paper work on time.
Would have been 5 stars if I hadn’t had to walk over the road to the tyre reception to pay the bill. No card machine in the MOT station

Con Artists - Make things up that are wrong with your car that are not and then finer even fit the car wheels back on properly.
I was told my breaks were desperately needing changing. When it had just passed it MOT, told them to leave it and when back to my normal garage. Nothing wrong with the breaks.

Arrived on time for morning MoT
Arrived on time for morning MoT, having said I would wait. Staff pleasant but not told that they were running late so had to sit in a cold office for one and a half hours. Arrived home to find incorrect mileage had been recorded so had to return. Entering correct mileage should surely be a priority.

This isn't against the lads at the tyre…
This isn't against the lads at the tyre place. This is with protyre.
I had bought 4 tyres online to be installed at 11am in the week.
I turned up, no tyres. They didn't even seem to know they were coming. So I had no warning and apology that nothing had arrived.
The lads bent over backwards to sort out the lack of process from protyre.
I came back the next day after having lost a day's pay previously and 1/2 a day the following day.
All good, fitted and the lads did a great job.
Protyre you are terrible. No comms to me or the tyre place.
So now I'm massively out of pocket after spending a lot of money with protyre.
