Been a member for a while now and great but some changes needed
Been a member for a while now and great facilities and staff. I have loved the classes with good variety.
I have noticed though the last few months the lack of variety of classes with some classes only being offered in the middle of the day which do not account for people who work full time. I get the rule with not turning up for classes and a ban but what about the other way - I booked some classes in Dec (after Christmas) to turn up only for staff not in or notification sent that the class was not on .

Our app also has lots of features so that members can get the most out of their membership! The only issue i have found is lack of cable attachements, in particular there only being one tricep rope cable for eight cable points

The men's changing rooms in Aintree had…
The men's changing rooms in Aintree had no heating and it was -5deg outside. Not acceptable.

Temperatures and air conditioning in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Thanks, PureGym.

I’m all for classes and enjoy them myself but for such a big gym it’s ridiculous that some of classes take up the only rowers and ski machines so there are none available for other people at the gym!

Great value gym
Great little gym for the price you pay. I've been a member of David Lloyd, the council gyms and PureGym and can honestly say PureGym has the best classes and membership you can cancel/rejoin whenever you need to. You're not tied into anything it's great. Great gym for a casual gym goer.

Improvements are needed
Recently joined the gym. Overall it’s okay, has a good parking, good size gym.
A few issues which I noticed after attending 3 times.
1. Massive changing room which I’m not sure if the gym has that capacity anyway, but the shower room (for men) is very small and not good at all. 6 showers with 6 hangers outsides. No shelves or storages to put your stuff like shampoo inside so you have to put it on the floor which the drainage is not that good. So have to put your stuff on the wet floor.
2. Not enough attachments for the cable machines. For instance there’s only two rope for cable machines… as there’s a second floor you’ll end up going up and down to look for attachments.
3. There’s no space where you could use the yoga mats to stretch or anything as it seems the studios are being used by trainers only. But the area for the free weight is good.

Not the best, took a call mid sign up, & I then had to contact customer service…but no phone contact….online only, made it eventually but awkward to start, let’s hope it improves now I’ve joined

I called to look at the gym and was…
I called to look at the gym and was impressed with what I saw. A really nice man welcomed me and gave me a tour . He was very helpful, professional and friendly. He told me about the app, membership, classes and personal trainers. I went home and joined up. It was all very easy!

Cleaned Environment
PureGym has an excellent, high quality workout machines, weights and equipments.
Vending machines snacks is delicious and affordable.
I’m looking forward for a regular cleaning schedule in toilets and workout space.
Bonus! Return surface sprays and blue papers stations.

No smaller weights in kettlebells and cleaner was cleaning all 3 showers at the same time so unable to use the showers.

Amazing experience and very positive
The gym community, no one inside the gym judges anyone else and therefore gives a positive outlook on the gym, the gym is clean and hygienic and allows for a better experience, the machines are modern and allow for a better session
