PureGym in Blackburn is very good. Until I got a PT called Dylan. I decided after about 5-6 weeks that I didn't want to continue doing the 1-2-1 and that apparently it was a 3 month contract. Which he never explained to me at the beginning. I signed nothing with him. Long story short. I told him I was going to trading standards to check this out.
In turn he said why not take me to court instead..then said or I can take you to court. I don't class any of this professional. Such a horrible man. Stay away from him...
I just want to put this out there for people to be aware
Nick was a great help, sorted out my issue super quickly
Well maintained, very conscientious management, can't fault the place...
Gym is always clean, machines are always available, and the team is friendly and helpful.
Really good gym and really friendly and helpful staff would definetly recommend
Team is active and fast in resolving issues.
Great gym, clean and tidy and was able to get on the machines I wanted to use for my exercises without waiting. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
I have been enjoying the new gym in cumbernauld as it has friendly staff and does have a good range of equipment however I feel it needs more equipment such as leg curl machines as u only have lying leg curl machine. Also be good if there was more plate loaded machines. With it being a smaller gym it is sometimes difficult to get on especially if its busy but that is the same with most gyms. I highly recommend this gym to anyone
i really love the open space and the great variety of equipment and free weights. Lewis gave me my induction tour - he was amazing, super friendly, and made me feel welcome right away!
Amazing staff and management team, always there to help with a smile. Great facilities too.
Puregym is an excellent company, but it's so hard to actually contact them.
Everyone was friendly and the staff member, Alex, took the time to listen to our goals and needs and show us how to use the equipment safely. Looking forward to our gym journey.
Helped me over my ssubscription and put me back on my original membership after a mix up
PureGym Cramlington is an alright gym with decent equipment, but it can get very busy. Unfortunately, it's become even more crowded because of the growing number of people bringing tripods and filming themselves while working out.
A gym is meant to be a place where members can exercise, not a movie set. It's frustrating having to wait while someone sets up a camera, records multiple takes, or spends ages posing in front of mirrors and equipment. It also raises privacy concerns, as other members can end up being filmed without their consent.
We all pay the same membership to use the equipment, so everyone should be able to work out without unnecessary delays or worrying about appearing in someone else's video. I hope PureGym considers introducing clearer rules around filming to make the gym more comfortable and accessible for everyone but so far I have not seen anything.
I've been a member of PureGym Beeston for ten years and I went to train today with significant back pain when Callum Ford (personal trainer) noticed I was in pain and came over to see if I was ok and asked what the problem was ,he then gave up his own free time and helped me with some stretching exercises which has made me feel a 100% better complete hero ,thanks PureGym and thanks Callum Ford ...it's little things like this that make me glad I'm a member!!!!😊
The staff are really welcoming I have a pt here called Archie very worth it all the staff are amazing
First workout after holiday 🥵Love this gym, not intimidating, great space for all levels/ages
