It’s a good gym but not very clean and…
It’s a good gym but not very clean and is very hot. Best time to go is late evening as it can get very busy and hard to get a machine.

The changing room and showers not so clean and Just 1 Shower working from 5 .

Good experience so far!
I have recently joined PureGym and it has been a positive experience, staff have been helpful and other users seem friendly, particularly other women my age (45). It can be intimidating when you first go to somewhere like this but a smiling face and helpful staff have lessened that. The only criticism I would have is that the music at times can be way too loud, also it's repetitive club music (I wouldn't mind if it was drum and bass!). I took part in a 'Mind' class the other day which is supposed to be relaxing but the music was thumping and the lights were really bright, it seems like PureGym has one setting - intense, sometimes it would be nice to calm the vibe a bit.

The parking is free if validated In The…
The parking is free if validated In The gym, but we have noticed lots of people parking at the gym and using the park. Taking much needed spaces for people trying to use the gym. Also the kit in the gym really needs some maintenance, it's all falling apart!

As the car park is owned via a third party we are unable take action against people parking and not using the facilities.
However please be assured if not entered into the club and validated their parking on the day they will risk receiving a fine from the parking company.
With regards to equipment staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.
If you have any concerns about specific equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym
The gym is in a good location
The gym is in a good location, has enough machines and weights but is missing some key equipment. If a machine is broken or things need replacing they are fixed pretty quickly, which is great. The gym is relatively clean but the bathroom are dirty and old. This gym is pretty busy most of the time

Poor hygiene standard
Several feedback forms have been completed mentioning hygiene and cleanliness issues. Unfortunately, no improvements have been noticed so far. The soap dispenser in the gents has been broken for over a week, one of the urinals is nearly blocked, and the cubicles are very dirty. I’m seriously considering moving to another gym.
