Yet to be seen
I sined up with a 3 day free trial and booked an intro and 1 class. 1st I had issues with my pin. Waited several minutes at the door trying to gain access for my intro and then the class I booked onto got cancelled. So other than what started out very tumultuous and my tour of the facilities, I was unable to actually try the facilities out.

THE TRUTH ABOUT BEDFORD PUREGYM
it is a really good gym you can get around places but when it gets busy there is a que for weights and machines for example bench press because they only have one. my opinion is to use less cardio machines in the main gym and but more weights and other facilities that we can use on a day to day basis. Yes I know the gym is small but half of the main room is the cardio machines if you do cardio its okay but for other people that use the weights and the other machines cut down on the cardio machines down and use the other rooms downstairs for the cardio. But for the gym newbies its a good gym to be in and have fun with the weights and the cardio machines.

Joining was as good as it could possibly be
Joining PureGym online was very straightforward, there was an offer code for free joining fee that I took up. The options for the different memberships were clearly laid out. Setting up the monthly payment was quick and easy. Communication was good with joining confirmation and welcome emails. All very professional.

I have joined Pure gym in the past but I couldn't last long, cancelled my membership, as I wasn't motivated enough.
Now back again with Mike James my amazing Personal Trainer :).
He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. On top of that, Mike is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned.
If motivation, flexibility, and a personal approach is what your looking for in a PT, then Mike is the man for you!
I am so please to have Mike as my PT.

Mixed opinions
The one time code requested by my daughter (a member) didnt work so she had to get manager to let me in & out). I did same program as her (mix of using fixed machines and exercises using free weights), so whilst use limited amount of equipment, the Gym seemed to be well kitted out.

The personal trainer is lovely
The personal trainer is lovely, I haven’t used her yet but I have been watching her with other clients. The gym is very clean and organised. So far, I’m really impressed.
Very good value for money also.

Locker broken in to and no one at Puregym could give a toss.
Had to have been a member or how did they get in?

Love the accessibility of the gym and…
Love the accessibility of the gym and wide selection of available equipment.
Always clean, neat and tidy.
Only issue is on occasions “grunting” individuals whilst working out, it can really put you off even with headphones in.

Just a solid gym, no issues. However would like the addition of a heavy bag, I think this would be a great addition and open opportunities for people to PT boxing

If you have experience of using a gym…
If you have experience of using a gym or gym classes great. Classes not great, instructors not taking registers, asking questions about abilities, injuries. Only 30 min classes on the whole. Poor spin bikes and poor spin tuition.

Good gym but poor changing rooms.
Good gym with excellent equipment and people. The only problem I regularly encounter is the poor sanitation facilities. The male changing rooms frequently smells of raw sewage. The showers seem to be out of order. I am currently paying over £20 per month. If things don't change, I will switch to the Pump Gym which appears to be kept in good condition and is the slightly cheaper.
