I’ve emailed 2 email addresses and…
I’ve emailed 2 email addresses and messaged on Facebook messenger about a typo error on my emails address when I joined and I’ve not had no response any, my membership started on Friday and I am unable to use the gym as I obviously haven’t received my PIN number as my email address I registered with must have been wrong

Wonderful gym
Wonderful gym, nice and friendly people. Top notch equipment:) highly recommend. Very clean facilities such as the shower and changing rooms. I also love the fact that there’s a free available hair dryer in the changing room 👍👍. Will 100% continue my membership at this gym

Clean spacious gym with lots of choice.
First visit was a hour stay using mainly the resistance training equipment. All the machines were there for all areas of the body. And whilst there was only one machine for each type of workout (multiple bikes, treadmills and cross trainers), they were very clean, no damage to the pads or seats and really easy to figure how how to use. All of them showed what parts of the body it focused on and how to move on the equipment. There were also lots of adjustment settings, so for a 5’ 1” tall person, that’s invaluable. Using equipment that doesn’t give you the proper workout because it’s just too big is maddening. I’m not a gym enthusiast, I’m out of shape and I felt like a newbie going in, but this gyms atmosphere was nice and I didn’t feel stupid using the machines. The etiquette was good. And whilst it’s not as big as some gyms it still felt spacious, no unpleasant body smells and with a good mixture of visitors. I would recommend this gym for whatever workout you are looking for.

Throughout our gym, we do also have emergency help points situated throughout the gym, including within the changing room facilities. When the emergency help points are accessed, you will be put through directly to the CCTV Team, who will be able to help. Further to this, they do have contact with the Emergency Services, should an emergency be brought to their attention. We want to provide our members with a safe space in which they can get a great workout in and do so, in a clean and friendly environment. we always appreciate and take on board member feedback. If you have concerns on this, the best way to pass it on is always to get in touch directly with the Gym Manager. You can approach them in the gym or leave a comment in the feedback box as this is regularly reviewed for updates and improvements. Thanks, PureGym

Waste of time
What a waste of time just signed up to PureGym re-downloaded the app signed in, it shows people in the gym as ‘live data’, but when I travel and get there it’s temporarily closed and no update on the app to tell me otherwise so I’ve just wasted a journey, my money and my time

Targeted Biased/Money/Identity theft
I have been member of the puregym idle for as long as it first opened around 2015-16, I have got direct debit every month since then for me and my 3 family members, Recently went to gym after 3-4 months and when trying to put pin , it wasn’t working, there wasn’t anyone there to help, Even I couldn’t log into the app, It was frustrating and took a but of time finding online and contacted them through messenger,It said someone will reply back within 12 hrs and evn 20 hrs went by and no one responded, Even did emails, still no reply, Then reply came that my membership has been suspended for something happened in 8 dec 24 and most likely I think I didn’t even go to gym as I was travelling abroad for last few months, I rarely go to this gym as I have got membership of other gym groups also. The real annoying thing is they didn’t inform or anything and kept taking payments from account and after 2-3 months I went to gym and you get to know when I just kept paying for it as it is quite cheap and couldn’t bother cancelling it, I am a NHS Dentist and due quite busy schedule don’t able to go daily and only usually go few times a month, but recently some health issues I don’t go .
This is really annoying to know how they treat a legacy and loyal member like that, I feel biased in that place sometimes also.
I actually want to report and take this matter further and want to have this investigated and possibly gather evidence and look into this practice of theirs as they might have been doing this to others also, but people usually don’t put voice out.
The people responsible should be named and shamed for this.
All in all It’s actually gone really down in quality and gym usability than before.
My friend has managed to get the card from gym and no. of one of the gym manager and texted them, But no response has come from there yet.
I will go and visit and possibly try to find the area manager guy I met few months ago, He was a lovely asian person.
My family members membership is still active, but they also go rarely.
Al in all it’s not good anymore, I would advise people to look elsewhere. David Lloyd and Jd gums are much better than this.
Avoid this place if possible.

We collect payments from members who are on a monthly direct debit membership on the appropriate date (direct debits dates vary from person to person and can be changed to a preferred date). This doesn't change unless a member chooses to freeze their memberships for times when they won't be coming into the gym for an extended period.
If members choose to freeze their membership, then payments are frozen for either 1, 2 or 3 months (depending on the duration a member has frozen for and memberships can only be frozen for a maximum of 3 months, in any 12 month period) for free, if on the Plus membership or pay £6.99 per month (whilst membership is frozen) if on the off-peak and Core membership.
A freeze must be applied 4 working days before the next payment is due, to ensure that the membership is frozen for the correct period of time, and payment is not taken. Please contact Member Services, so that we can investigate this further. Thanks, PureGym.

Reinstated!
I was a member previously but left to go elsewhere, but have now decided to return and as soon as I entered by name and email address I was reinstated which I found very good that I was remembered!
Unfortunately I haven't been able to attend since re-joining due to a bad fall which I am still recovering from!
