Disgusting premises…
Aside from the amazing opt-in opt-out contracts (hence the 2 stars), I find it hard to believe this is a wellness institution considering there were leaked pipes raining down on everyone from the air conditioning. It made the place smell of damp, and made my partner ill.. it’s clearly mouldy water. Gym equipment and a large area of carpet was affected and unusable because of it! I understand you’re closing this branch, but the neglect of it even a year beforehand is honestly shocking. Hygiene should be a promoted factor in the gym. Do better.

We are equally as disappointed when, from time to time, things go wrong and equipment has to be placed out of order. Regular maintenance checks are undertaken, and any issues identified are escalated to engineers straight away. Sometimes, there may be a small wait whilst engineers attend to fix any issues, but we endeavour to resolve these as soon as possible.
If you have any concerns about specific pieces of equipment in your gym, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

I have multi gym access and love all…
I have multi gym access and love all the pure gyms in my area but I have to say Rebecca at Camberley has made such an amazing impact to the gym and has such a high energy possitve attitude which makes me want to keep going there. She is a super supportive and pattionate person and really knows what shes doing. Honestly anyone would be lucky to have her in there corner.

With regards to equipment, staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.

Straightforward. Was able to use my previous PUREGYM pin as well whilst being able to take advantage of a free joining fee of £10.

I came to the gym around 8.30 pm and…
I came to the gym around 8.30 pm and was hoping to speak to a member of staff. Not one member around. Then when I came to leave an hour later I couldn't get out as it wouldn't except my code no members of staff on site to help eventually a very kind gym member helped me get out after a lot of hassle

Confusing layout
The gym is pretty big with a variety of kit which is great, however it is arranged a little oddly so it is often difficult to find space to set up for a workout with all the kit in the right area. For instance, the main weights area is very small and there is no good setup for hip thrusts. It would be great to see this sort of area expanded, and the more ‘functional’ training areas consolidated as currently these are scattered across different rooms, e.g. boxes in one room and ski erg and medicines balls in another.

Returning to the gym after an accident

Good gym for me available all hours
The main reason using this gym is the 24 hour access and free 2 hour parking nearby. I need flexibility on access because I'm not the kind of person that can work out early morning, I don't get time during the day except weekends, and I use it late evening during the week.
It can get busy early evenings during the week where cadio equipment is always available but you'll find the weight machines will all be in use. To use weight machines you need to go off peak hours really.
The equipment is good quality and well maintained as yet I've never seen any broken equipment. The atmosphere is fine you just get on with what you want to do without anybody bothering you. The air temperature is just right it is well controlled. There are vending machines, changing rooms, lockers if required. The monthly fee is reasonable and there aren't any restrictions on when you go or how many times you go. I spend anywhere from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours on my sessions several times a week.
