No respect for customers/gym users
The background music is always too loud. I can't hear my own music which completely puts me off my workout. I can't listen to what they are playing since it's mostly crap. The staff don't seem too care about anybody else in the gym. They only care about people in their classes showing no respect for anyone else since the music gets highered up when classes start. Yeah i dont go there any more as i was told that couldnt turn it down and qlso indian guys messing about in the gym totally put me off,ive found another place to workout in peace and quiet with decent music in the back ground with no classes annoying me in my training area.i would recommend not to go to Pure Shit Gym

We provide all of our teams with bespoke music platforms created just for fitness classes which provide a wide range of motivating music specific to each class type PureGym offers. Staff should undertake regular volume checks for the safety and comfort of our members, but if you approach the Gym Manager with more info, including dates and time, they will be more than happy to look into this for you and ensure the music is kept at the expected volume. Fantastic gym
Pure gym is a fantastic gym with 24 hour access means you can work out around your own schedule, the staff are so friendly and helpful especially kennedy who does the Circuits and glc class she pushes you to keep going and to be at the best of your ability. the gym is very clean and has all modern equipment

Great gym
Great gym, you are more than just a number for the members of staff. They interact with members which makes a difference. Always willing to help if need be and also great classes.

great gym overall with good equipment and staff.... but overcrowded and toilets are not great

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.

Changing rooms are far too small
Coleraine changing rooms are far too small, compared to several other Pure Gyms. Three showers looking directly into the small changing room, not ideal either, no privacy!

Facility is good with a wide range of equipment to suit all your training needs. However, the showers/changing rooms are absolutely stinking! As I train in the mornings before work a shower is a must - if it doesn't improve I will definitely consider cancelling membership

The gym is always col…. 🥶
The gym is always cold. A long warmup is needed before training can begin or there is a danger of straining a muscle. I went to do yoga several days ago and gave up half way through as I was still cold.
The staff are great and the equipment good but I assume that the company policy is to save on heating costs by keeping the place cold.

Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Great place to workout, pleasant environment, 24 hours a huge plus.
Only downside is - other Puregyms have a slightly better variety of equipment.
If the Coleraine Puregym had a similar equipment selection e.g. added a Shoulder Lateral Raise Machine (same as Belfast Puregym - St Anne's Square) or a Back Pullover Machine - would make it a better all rounder with other gyms in the area.

Great but class timetable changes aren't ideal for working/family
Enjoy my classes but timetable changes quite often meaning having to miss out on ones I like if they move days.
Would like to see circuit class back again and possibly a boot camp style training course.
All in all I enjoy my PureGym membership

10/10 Gym with great staff
Never been to a gym before in my life until last December, I tried a few in my local area and wasn’t sure but once I went to pure gym in coleraine I kept coming back. The gym is clean, well maintained and the staff are incredible. If it wasn’t for the manager Mary and the other staff being so kind and welcoming I definitely wouldn’t have continued on my fitness journey for very long. Mary isn’t a normal manager who hides in her office she is constantly out on the gym floor checking up making sure everything is tidy, Mary and the rest of the staff are always making sure anyone in the gym is safe and content as well as helping out anyone who is unsure of what machines do what. PureGym is definitely the best place to go.
