Its a nightmare coming to this gym, you cannot find an empty locker they are mostly padlocked up and there are very few people in the gym at 5.30 am in the morning, i have reported this many many time... See more

Quantity of equipment was low
No sponge cushion for the bar on the smith machine.

2 guys forced me to enter into the gym…
2 guys forced me to enter into the gym and they entered with my pin , and pure gym has suspended my membership. Don't know what to do. Very pathetic

Grievance
Hi, it’s been more than 3 months disabled toilet supply in bishop street branch is not working. I complained a 2 month ago still no repair. Rest is all good thanks.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our facility providers to ensure that our facilities are fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any further concerns about equipment and facilities, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym.

Needs new equipment
I liked the variety of weight machines but the equipment is very old and dated, I usually go to the Alan Giggs as it's close to home and I've tried a few gyms out and the Alan Giggs equipment is far better as I can track the calories I've burned and what exercises I have done on the app which helps me keep track for my weight loss journey

Awful gym
Awful gym. Barely any equipment. Too many cardio machines. The air conditioning doesn’t work so the air is warm and stuffy. Whole place stinks of sweat and whatever else. Worst gym I have ever been to.

It really is a no judgement environment. My first time at the gym and I had fun. Well it was a Monday so I guess I’ll keep going on weekdays.

For smooth functioning of the gym
At the peak times, I have experienced that some of the members doesn't offer the machines and pulleys/ free weights to the required members while on prolonged rest between their sets. And most of the time, the free weights are not re-racked by some members mostly in which it's most difficult to find the free weights especially the dumbbells. Hope there should be some rules and regulations strictly imposed to tackle the scenario

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this.
