Unable to Get In or speak with a Human!
I visited this Puregym today with a view to having a look round and maybe joining - only to be unable to get in. After ten minutes of pushing the doorbell (?) and even asking another customer for help, no staff could be found to let me in, so I left. 'Everybody Welcome' doesn't seem true here!
Perhaps put the staff Welcome desk in a place accessible to all, including newcomers? Also it'd be nice to have a phone number to speak to someone; it all seems very over-automated via website and social media. I'm disabled and would rather speak to a human.

Noone turned up for a 'get started' session i booked
I booked a get started session and when i arrived noone was there. I waited for over 15mins & noone arrived. Very dissapointing as i wanted to get going.

Following the closure period in 2020 due to the National Lockdown, we introduced cleaning stations into our gyms in line with health and safety government guidelines. As time has gone on, we have gradually removed these cleaning stations and in our newer gyms they have not been implemented, helping to support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We continue to ask, as we always have, that members bring with them a towel with them to wipe kit before and after use and where possible, the team will remind members of this. Thanks, PureGym
Impossible to sort any problem
Impossible to sort any problem. Nobody to talk to. All you can have is automatic reply irrelevant to your question. I joined through Vitality as promised for half price. Every month I am paying by direct debit but my membership was cancelled by puregym. There is no possibility to call, email gives you automatic reply, Facebook is the same.

Really easy to join online.
I turned up at the gym asking for a look around and staff were really friendly and happy to help. Very impressed with the gym - it looks clean, safe and well-equipped.
I love the app - very easy to navigate.

First visit
This was my first visit and I was shown around by Josh who was very helpful, friendly, polite and professional. I was able to use all the equipment I wanted to without having to wait probably due to the time of my visit. At the moment I am really pleased with my experience.

Members are able to cancel their memberships anytime or freeze their membership for up to 3 months (in a 12 month period), via the PureGym app or website, on the members area or directly with the bank by cancelling the payment agreement.
