Good gym, cleaners not so good
Great gym, nice staff and pts. Unfortunately the cleaner at this gym is very rude, I had an altercation with her in the female changing rooms where she told me to move but I said please give me a second as I had done a very intense workout and needed to sit. She glared at me to move and then tutted in my face. Another time she went around me with the hoover on the gym floor distracting myself and my friend and making us feel like we were in her way while trying to work out. I hope that gym staff can make this less of an issue as a few members have had bad experiences with her also.

Day pass and taster session
Easy to book and join. Very helpful staff member showed me how to access the building and then which equipment to use. Very useful having a free taster session before committing.

There’s a lot of space, lots of machines so you would not have to wait
Never been to a gym before but this one is really nice, it’s clean and you don’t really have to wait for machines because there are multiple of one. People are nice and friendly and if you are scared of people judging you, don’t be.

Great Gym
It was actually very difficult to move from my student membership to an off-peak membership. My husband sorted it out via several emails to customer services.
I am very happy now that it is done and I love going to the gym. Always find it comfortable and a great relaxed atmosphere.

Great gym
Great gym, great selection of classes, lots of excellent PTs to choose from; there is bound to be one that matches your interests. There's more going on in the gym if you go along. It does seem to have all folk as members; lots of diversity. The friendly PTs, with their different interests, make it possible to choose what area of wellness you want to focus on and then work at your level.

PureGym don't have control over parking pricing or fines because the car parks are owned by seperate parking companies not associated with PureGym .
They are responsible for enforcing these disabled spaces and do issue fines for misuse.

Stolen Rugsack, containing car key
My rug sack containing track suit bottom, hood, car and house keys were stolen bag was stolen from the Pure gym Edinburgh West branch male changing room on 13 July 2024 between 11:20 and 13:00. While the staff on duty on the day were extremely supportive and emphatic. The Managers have so far not bothered to reply to my email even though the email was delivered.
