Our promotional codes have Terms and Conditions associated with them and they should always be checked prior to joining.
For example, many promo codes can't be used in conjuction with pre-sale memberships, as they already have a heavily discounted reduction applied to their future monthly payments.
If you contact our Member Services Team via email on : member.services@puregym.com - They will be able to locate your membership and advise in detail why your code didn't work.
If it was a technical error, we apologise! Our Member Services Team will be able to help in your email thread and get that relevant promotion applied.

Terrible gym, full of children
Terrible gym, lacks basic hygiene and lets huge groups of 11-15 year olds (with no gym etiquette) in despite being against their own policy which just makes it an overall awful experience.
The managers know and do not care.

My job is not 9 2 5 ,so with pure gym…
My job is not 9 2 5 ,so with pure gym being 24hrs it is easy for me. The equipment is of a good standard. Sometimes when a piece of equipment breaks down, it take awhile for them to repair it which is an inconvenience. Plenty of lockers for your personal kit and showers are always warm.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.
If you have any concerns in future about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym

Great gym for a quality workout
Friendly staff, plenty of quality equipment, clean environment, good ambiance. Much better than Folkestone leisure centre which is very dirty and tired.

Hazardous lifting environment
I was using a deadlift platform when, out of the blue, a Barbell fell down behind me on to the back of my foot. It hurt but I suffered no lasting injury. This could of ended up a lot worse potentially, e.g. if I was mid lift. I let the puregym staff know, he apologised but that was all.

Good gym
I prefer the Folkstone gym to the one in Dover as there's more equipment and space available to do your own workout.

It's ok
I absolutely love my time at the gym but due to caring for my husband, my "me" time is limited so find it very frustrating when the lads spend so much time on a piece of strength equipment because they are watching something on their phones or running their social life in a group, rather than actually using the bit of kit. I also find it odd that the manager walks past these guys and thinks nothing of them being on the machine for half an hour or more and doesn't challenge them, especially when it is a busy time. Yes, I could go and ask them how long they are going to be, but as a 50-something year old woman, it is not something I am comfortable doing, so sadly, more often than not, only get to use just the cardio equipment. I also wish more people would wipe down the equipment after they have used it as staff do not seem to bother with any cleaning routine anymore.

Unfortunately, we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however if people are sitting on equipment we would strongly advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to help further.

Friendly gym
Friendly gym, instructors are all great ( Folkestone)
Only slight gripe is the lack variety of classes currently and a/c blasting on a freezing day!
Would recommend PureGym, great value for money
