Only One desinfection spray! in whole Gym to clean TE.
Bit of shame, the stations should be in every corner? As sweaty people dont clean the benches after use! PLEASE add more, it cost so little , dont behave cheap !

A well kept gym…
Went to this Gym for the first time this morning and my first impression was extremely positive. The layout, atmosphere and tidiness of this space was outstanding. This is a well kept Gym.
I met Sarah the assistant manageress and James who is a personal trainer. Both had very shiny attitudes and i could very well understand why the gym was in good standing. Sarah is the perfect assistant manager and James will surely be a great manager some day. I travel around the country a lot and i have to say that this is among the top 3 Pure gyms i have been to.

Hygiene station
I general like the experience in the gym, it is clean (I see the cleaner practically every time I train. It has a great atmosphere and staff that are friendly and generally smiling. The one big gripe for me would be the hygiene station, quite often there is either no antibacterial spray or no paper towels to wipe down surfaces. For a person with a weaken immune system, it feels quite scary and feel, each time I am taking a risk

Following the closure period in 2020 due to the National Lockdown, we introduced cleaning stations into our gyms in line with health and safety government guidelines. As time has gone on, we have gradually removed these cleaning stations and in our newer gyms they have not been implemented, helping to support our sustainability objectives by reducing our paper towel waste. We continue to ask, as we always have, that members bring with them a towel with them to wipe kit before and after use and where possible, the team will remind members of this. Managers apathy towards customerstomersand…
your managers do not understand Customer needs. They cancel a young aspiring rugby players access without full evidence and cancel 2 appts to meet just before his team are due to go on tour. Twice it seems the Manager can't be arsed to turn up.
This customer is his schools PE student of the year, and has full colours in football and rugby. You don't get these by misbehaving.

PureGym poor experience
Since joining the gym, I have only visited twice. On both occasions, there were over 90 people in the space, which felt overwhelmingly overcrowded and unsuitable for the size of the facility. Additionally, I noticed a significant mould issue on one of the walls in the changing room. This raises serious concerns about the air quality and potential health risks, making me reluctant to continue using this gym. I am seriously considering cancelling my membership, even if it means travelling further to find a more suitable facility.

AVOID AT ALL COST.
Here is unpleasant experience with management and other people at Gloucester Quedgeley gym:
1) Members of staff (incl. manager) are showing no respect at all. Rude arogant harassing individuals.
2) cleanliness of gym...both on the floor and especially changing rooms and toilet/shower facilities disgusting and filthy!!
3) not enough equipment and demands towards customers to jump off the machine because some rude kid who can't understand simple "I haven't finished " is getting abusive and harassing other customers.
5) equipment scattered everywhere because kids can't put anything away.
6) gym is underequipped and you getting abuse because kid wants all equipment at all time!
7) there is more than one machine or equipment that can be used to train this same muscle groups and nobody is there to babysit kids and jump off the machine because all they can do is shouting "F..k you"! and you get blame.
8) rude arogant kids have no clue how to use different machine and equipment to train same muscle groups so you will get harrased and abuse if you using machine they want and then they will go to management who will abuse you even more as in their opinion you should of jump off the equipment as soon as some abusive kid demands from you to do so.
9) people literally talking on their phones all the time. Not just talking but shouting as they using headphones and can't hear themselves. Imagine everyone going on their phones at the same time. It's gym not call center room.
10) kids vaping in changing room!
Childish harassing and abusive culture and behaviour.
I've cancelled my membership! No way that I pay for being abused!

Tried to join my local gym
Tried to join my local gym, using the current offer code displayed on the website, ZEROJF, but at checkout the code shows an error message “Not Valid”. So I would have had to pay an extra £15. They should not use fake offers to lure people in. Bad practice.

Tidy gym
Went to the gym before purchasing a membership. Spoke with the manager of the gym who was a top guy and gave us lots of information about the place, it’s seemed like he couldn’t do enough for us.
So I signed up and Had my first session today, the gym is very tidy.

Worst gym I've been too (shut it down
Worst gym- honestly want a refund. Layout is ok- but plates are everywhere. Everyone but 3 people were disrespectful. They gave no personal space, put plates behind me whilst i was squatting- all the plates were mixed so.it was a treasure hunt to find a second 20kg plate. Could be good but never visting again. More so
Hot and sweaty. Refund!

We ask that members return their weights after use, to ensure that the gym remains and safe and tidy environment for our members. However we know that at busier times, weights are not always returned and our team complete regular re-sets of the gym.
We understand that this is sometimes frustrating for our members, and it is included within our Gym Rules that members should return weights after use. Anybody witnessed leaving equipment out of place will be spoken to by our Gym Team.
