I think some of the staff could be more helpful, and I also think we could have a bit more equipment like a hip thrust machine, which a lot of people think would be very useful.

Lovely team
Lovely team, nice atmosphere and good range of classes. Ellie’s and Andreas’s classes are really good - they both get you motivated and take care in noticing their class members. Both really lovely people. The new team member Darren is lovely too, he is friendly, down to earth and very engaging when he talks to you ! All round a really lovely team, all the other instructors are great too- they all create a nice friendly welcoming environment.

Gym needs re organising
Gym needs re organising , the classes are held in a cage next to gym floor whitch the music and PTs voice is way louder than gym floor music . It may be better suited upstairs and bring the cardio machines down stairs where the class is being held now, 🤔

Great gym
Really enjoy going to pure gym Lichfield, new to the area and joined alone. Staff are really friendly and supportive in the group exercise classes. Step class by Ellie is amazing, this is the longest I have attended a gym.

The instructors are all really friendly…
The instructors are all really friendly and approachable. I like that there are a good selection of well structured classes which are at convenient times for finishing work, and are reasonably short so easy to fit in regularly without taking up a lot of your evening. The class area is small, and it would be better if a bit more room was available. Apart from that, I am happy with my decision to join the gym. Budget-friendly prices but a high quality team.

Rowing machines still not fixed. Two haven’t been working correctly for months.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.
Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Bank holiday gym visit
A good session. Gym had a few people training and so a good motivating environment. Bikes were free and we are preparing for the London 100 later in May. A good session, new PB over 30 mins, then good strength training session. Gym staff are friendly and in the background. Other gym members also friendly which makes a nice atmosphere.

Overall Good Experience
This pure gym is quite small but offers a lot of cardio machines: bikes, treadmills , cross trainers… they have the whole second floor dedicated to it! However the gym is quite small so there is only 1 of each machine such as a smith machine so when it is busy it is hard to get on equipment. The machines are good and all work well and are looked after as you see staff cleaning them and putting equipment away. However, there is a lack of variety in the machines compared to other pure gyms as there is no : hack squat, T row, hip thrust machine….Unfortunately the lift has been broken for weeks even months… and there doesn’t seem to be any fixtures any time soon. This obviously limits disabled members or members with additional needs which acts as a barrier to the disabled community . Furthermore, it proposes risks if someone was to get into danger on the top floor.The toilets are mostly clean with air fresheners but do have quite a stench… it might be the confined space but a regular clean would be appropriate to prevent this. The gym has a good atmosphere and most instructors seem welcoming however a “hello” or a smile would be nice! The changing rooms are clean and there is help buttons available which is comforting.

Recommended. Great Gym!
Nice big well laid out gym with plenty of machines and weights. Set in a good location the gym has a great team under Darcey, who are very friendly and helpful. They run great classes and are knowledgeable and have a good team ethic.
I would recommend the Lichfield Gym to anyone from a beginner to advanced users. 5 stars :-)
