Because of TfL strikes during my stay in London, I was not able to use any of the day passes I booked. However, the Team took care of me and made it possible to receive a refund through their very good will. This gesture alone (besides their top quality facilities and services) means they have my 100% loyalty and will have my repeat business each time I am in country.

I was a the gym costumer for nearly 3 years now and I moved to pure gym but as a student I don’t really like the prices specially when it’s a gym that is always full with people. The discount price that I paid here for the first month as £23 will turn to £45 which I found it super expensive. I will stay for the first month because I already paid but I will go back to the gym, by the way I came to this gym because I wanted to train with a friend but since I told him about the prices he will move with me

I am absolutely appalled by the state of this gym. The toilets are consistently filthy, which is completely unacceptable for a fitness facility in most of the locations. Their customer service is a nightmare - there's no phone support, no instant messaging, and even their Facebook responses take ages. I might as well be sending messages into a void!
The pricing structure is deliberately misleading. They lure you in with their 'Plus' membership, but once you actually visit certain locations, you suddenly discover they're not included. When you try to resolve this through their confusing app or website, you hit a wall. Their solution? Pay extra for day passes! Even worse, after paying these additional fees, you discover the location is closed on weekends - yet they still expect you to pay for those days!
The most infuriating part? They market themselves as a 24-hour gym chain, but their 'premium' London locations aren't even open on weekends. This is completely false advertising. I've never experienced such a blatant disconnect between marketing promises and reality. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this gym at all costs

Yesterday I took memebership and in app it’s still showing membership in progress i can’t access the app

The gym is well equipped but the showers don't seem to be cleaned. This is disappointing considering its a very expensive pure gym membership and the gym isn't even open for 24 hours. I used a shower stall which I noticed had some goo and hair stuck to the wall, a week later I went to the same shower stall and the same goo and hair was still there. The facilities should be cleaned more regularly

I’ve been a member of PureGym Aldgate for several months, and while the facilities are generally good, I’m very disappointed with the ongoing issue with the lift. For nearly three months now, the lift has been out of service, making it extremely difficult for those who rely on it for accessibility.
I urge PureGym to prioritise fixing the lift at London Aldgate and ensure that all facilities are accessible to every member. It’s not just about convenience—it’s about inclusivity and making sure everyone has the opportunity to stay active.

I am a member of PureGym Aldgate in London and have faced ongoing issues with the lift being out of service, significantly affecting my ability to access the gym due to my disability. Despite contacting the gym manager and PureGym Member Services multiple times, the issue remains unresolved. While they have offered me a 1-month credit as a gesture of goodwill, my formal complaint regarding disability discrimination has been ignored. It is disappointing that my access needs are not being taken seriously. I urge PureGym to take this matter seriously and ensure that facilities are accessible to all members, especially those with disabilities.

I received an email informing me that my PIN is temporarily inactive until I complete a health declaration, which can be done by logging into my members' area. I did this but there was not health declaration form, and the email didn't state where to find it.
UPDATE 25/06/2024: I can access my account using my email address and PIN; the problem is that I cannot find the health declaration form . The email I received stated that I can complete the form by logging into my account.

I have not been to a gym for a significant period of time, I have a couple of months in London, I have time to join a gym, without paying the price of a mortgage. I also will leave once I am done in London. Pure gym in Aldgate made this easy, I am getting my gym confidence back and happier mentally.

It’s really annoying when people drop weights in the gym.
Perhaps one of the the team could quietly and gently remind them not to do so.
It obviously damages the weights and bars after a while, leading to unnecessary expense for the company.
The team is very friendly and helpful.
The gym has excellent facilities and up to date equipment.
Handy to have towels.
Useful vending machines with protein bars, energy drinks, towels and locks.
Great gym! Highly recommended!

Well equipped gym; plenty of machines. Decent showers and cleaned sufficiently. Some maintenance to areas could be done (showers, rubber strips etc).

Having all the different types of equipment is great for a good workout, but having all the free weights all over the place is annoying especially in the morning, these should be put back in to there rightful place by an employee at the end of the day.

Staff & atmosphere are great.
Only issue is the gym is catered specifically for business people and isn’t open on weekends and closes early on a Friday which I was unaware of when joining.
