Terrible customer service. They don't respond. I've been paying on time for months. I have the highest membership fee to access all the gyms, supposedly, but every time I change, they tell me there's an additional cost. I've paid it several times. They also blocked my account without explanation, but they don't inform me of anything and I'm losing my extra workout. There's no technical support to answer my questions. I was going to cancel it before because of the bad service, but it won't let me. This is a scam and a lack of respect for consumers.

I do like the gym, but it is becoming an Instagram/TikTok den. People keep recording themselves all the time, without respect for the privacy of others around them. I don't mind people recording one set to check their posture or execution, but some record their WHOLE session!
They even use tripods for their phone, placed in the middle of the gym, so one has to zig zag between people, machines AND cameras.
I wish managers did something about it, as it is becoming ridiculous.

Visiting from the US, I wanted to partake in the gym culture here. Imagine how lucky I felt that there was a gym a short jaunt from where I’m staying. It was the closest gym but for some reason its day pass cost nearly twice as much as further and cheaper Pure gyms. I decided that it was maybe still worth it so I made my way here. I had trouble getting in and since it was a Sunday, the place was completely unmanned so I felt really silly messing with a keypad trying to get inside the first set of doors. Finally I figured it out after 5 minutes and made it inside. Machine selection is okay but not great. I did see the Pride flag hanging from the balcony so I decided to give two stars.

Brilliant gym and fantastic staff. Classes are great some of the 5:30pm ones are a challenge to get to after work but that’s quite minor in the grand scheme.
I gave a great review because I love the gym, the members and it's staff. I've given a few useful pointers to try to help improve things here and there but the sad truth is they're always pushed aside for fear of upsetting anyone. We need a seated calf raise machine, I've been asking for this for 2 years with no result. We have two dedicated glute raise machines upstairs and two resting boards downstairs solely for glute raises in the gym which makes me wonder if glutes are a newly discovered body part. A seated calf raise is a small machine that is very useful but we still can't get one.
In addition to this Pure gym prides itself on being a safe place to train. Day after day I go in and see someone has pushed the flat and decline bench press machines all the way to the wall which makes it impossible to spot someone on the bench, and it doesn't leave enough space for the weights to be put back. I've pointed this out more times than I can remember but nothing has been done. How can it be a safe gym if you can't spot someone while bench pressing? Does this make sense? Maybe I'm old fashioned.
Lastly the signs asking members to replace weights are useless because the problem remains. A sign at the entrance asking for consideration to fellow members will not offend or scare any new comers away. In fact it will re assure them that this is a safe gym in which mutual consideration for each other is a priority. The question I have is will any one be "brave" enough to implement these simple changes?
Completely wrong mix of cardio equipment since they updated it last year. Apparently management know better than to listen to their customers they replaced 12 cross trainers with just 2. Since that day, the cross trainers are permanently both busy during even moderately peak hours, whereas the step machines, bikes and running machines see comparatively very little use. This has been raised with management multiple times by several gym goers over the past five months but they’ve so far been unwilling to make any changes.
I’ve been a member of the gym at this location for 22 years, and been going at least 5 times per week. Now, whenever I consider going, I know I’m going to have to deal with queueing to get on the equipment - so have no idea of how long my workout will take. Consequently, I frequently go for a walk instead.
It’s difficult to understand why these decisions were made. Previously the 12 cross trainers saw a high level of use.
Management make a huge deal about their gym being inclusive. Apparently this doesn’t extend to those who need low impact cardio.

Really bad, there seems to be a delay in Clapham Pure gym. When they open 24 hours but the off peak time is still until 10 pm.

The gym I use in Clapham costs more than any other pure gym and is not included in the 3 months half price deal. Yet, it is a tiny gym with inadequate equipment and the classes are of poor standard.

Went for a visit first, staff was very friendly, showed me around. The online joining process was very straightforward and the app easy to set up.

The gym itself is great, Dan who showed me around was very helpful and generous with his time, but it was frustrating because I had a special offer flyer for £0 joining fee and 30% discount for 3 months and that is why I decided to join.
I collected the flyer yesterday and joined today on your top premium package with full access to all gyms, but I was told the offer was not valid and I did not get the discount on the flyer.
Overall I am glad I am now a member but it wasn't the best start and left a little bit of a sour taste with regard to not having been told the offer wouldn't be valid today having been given the leaflet by Pure Gym promoters yesterday who were very helpful.
That gave me the incentive to join and I appreciated the offer so to have it turned down flat was a really disappointing start. The staff said they couldn't do anything the big because it's dealt with centrally.
Would it be possibly for a goodwill adjustment to be made to credit my account to make good on the special offer promise, please? It would be really good to restore the relationship trust with the Pure Gym brand and the enthusiasm about my joining experience. Anything that you could do would be appreciated.
Many thanks
Peter

I liked the cleanliness of the gym overall but especially the washroom and changing area.
The variety of equipment is good also.
