Horribly loud tacky music - worst gym ever
Horrible loud music through the speaker, very anxiety triggering for those who just want to reset and exercise after a long day, and can still hear it through their noise cancelling headphones, making the whole experience a nightmare.
Also really not inclusive at all for a gym that claims to be a welcoming space for everyone: no gender neutral restrooms, and no quiet areas for those neurodivergent folks who use the gym to manage their symptoms, and are literally attacked by this horrible music from the moment they step inside the place.
No quiet hours offered either. Extremely narrow-minded and anachronistic for being only a few days away from 2026.

We provide all of our teams with bespoke music platforms created just for fitness classes which provide a wide range of motivating music specific to each class type PureGym offers. Staff should undertake regular volume checks for the safety and comfort of our members, but if you approach the Gym Manager with more info, including dates and time, they will be more than happy to look into this for you and ensure the music is kept at the expected volume. We also provide a range of changing facilities for our members. This includes separate-sex communal changing rooms and individual use, non-gendered changing facilities. After a long absence from exercise I booked two classes today and the Lovely Katie stepped in to teach me the basics of lifting and we also did another class. No one else attended so it was just me and her - she gave helpful advice and really boosted my confidence. Really grateful for her letting me go at my own pace. The gym itself is clean and I see no faults with the facilities. Looking forward to going back!

Nice gym
Friendly and approachable staff, especially the new AGM alex after raising an issue and quick to deal. The gym is clean, tidy and well maintained. It’s a nice atmosphere in this gym which helps support my Fitness goals

Gym was dirty
Gym was dirty. People walk around naked in changing rooms. Wouldn’t recommend. No tissue to wipe down machine

Had a good first experience, gym is well equipped with a good rang of free weights and equipment and was very clean and tidy.

I’m trying to pay my membership but…
I’m trying to pay my membership but it’s not straightforward anymore it’s impossible. So I can’t go gym because I don’t know how to pay my pill manually cos it’s on direct debit..

Incredible PT Sessions with Amma
I have loved my experience at Pure Gym Crouch End. I have especially loved my PT sessions with Amma who has created the most amazing strength training and muscle building programme for me. I have seen so much progression in the last few months and have received invaluable ongoing support, motivation and advice from Amma. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Great equipment terrible hygiene in toilet
Great equipment! But crowded from 6pm
Terrible toilet/showers, smell wee and not clean at all. This is for london Crouch End and london wood green

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.

Good functional gym
Good functional gym. They need to update treadmills though. Bathrooms are filthy and I actively avoid using them.

Puregym is great at what it does
Puregym is great at what it does, a no frills 24 hour access facility. My joining experience was a bit mixed. The personal trainer who showed me round didn't explain any of the equipment. I don't use the machines or weights as I have no idea which will meet my needs. There never seems to be anyone at the gym to ask. Otherwise it's great. I can run on the treadmill in the warm and dry.

There are not enough group classes
There are not enough group classes. The good trainers become PTs. Not everyone needs a PT. Of course it is better for the trainer financially but not a client like me who enjoys the group classes. Your trainer incentive needs to accommodate classes better. PS: When the gym opened, there were a lot of classes and it was excellent. Not so much now. I feel conned. Im very close to cancelling my membership. Im giving you guys another quarter to turn it around.

The gym equipment and environment very…
The gym equipment and environment very enjoyable. The music nice and low so low stress. Easy to use other gyms and staff reasonably pleasant.
Only issue is the showers smell very bad. I've mentioned many times but no ones seems to be bothered.

The changing room are very dirty and smelly, during pick time I think there should not be any class as they take lots of space equipment and make the experience very difficult
