I really like the way you have…
I really like the way you have redesigned the area around the big mirror at the far end. It is much easier to get around now and much less congested. I find the staff friendly and helpful and I like the variety of machines and free weights.

Pure Gym Classes Croydon
One of the features I appreciate most is the ability to book classes easily through the app, it makes planning my workouts around a busy schedule so much easier.I like all the classes but my favourite is the Riding class with instructor Nana Duah. The class is intense in all the right ways, and by the end, I feel not just physically stronger but mentally relaxed and recharged. It’s become a vital part of my weekly routine, and I genuinely look forward to it. Pure gym has created a space where fitness feels accessible and empowering. Highly recommend!

Nice gym, just avoid rush hours
The gym is large with a lot of machines and equipment . The only downside is often quite busy and the machines I want to use are hard to get a turn. Overall I recommend but try to avoid the rush hours if possible.

Fantastic
I joined in January 2025. I have been utilising classes before I go onto the gym floor. I particularly enjoy HIIT classes on Tuesdays with core directly afterwards. As a finisher for my week, being a busy mum, I have been participating in strength classes on Thursdays. Very challenging to your fitness level but also enjoyable as I am seeing the results and the progress I have made within 5 months. Trainers are very much appreciative of my injury and tailor my training with that in mind allowing me to fulfil my class potential.

Changing room dirty
Changing room dirty, the accessible lift do not work. The only enter is through the long stairs, I was not show a emergency door in case of fire, Ladies' work out area very small. Patronising member of staff.

It’s fine as gyms go
It’s fine as gyms go, and nice there’s a woman’s area. Although saying that, feels like it would benefit from staff using the gym to see gaps/problems. For example, the whole gym is lit quite naturally and dim which is 99% of people’s preference, but the women’s area has SO many bright white lights confined in a tiny space which is really overbearing - the brightness in there is off the charts in comparison. Dimming the light settings or removing one or two would help massively. Also, things like speakers being placed directly next to the top of stair climbers so your ears are next to the blasting music. Would also be good for barbells and lifting weights to stay in the women’s area as a lot of women like to use them in there privately and they often get taken out back to main area. Would be good for a bar and some plates to be labeled as ‘women’s area’ and to stay. Music is a real problem here consistently, sometimes it creeps up to insane levels especially early morning- my noise cancelling headphones don’t block it. Again especially bad in women’s area. Cleaning staff do amazing despite how badly the toilets get treated!

Good gym
Good gym, clean. Good equipment. Decent cycle class on a Friday lunch time.
Only slight criticism is that some members spend far too much time on the some of the floor equipment especially during peak periods preventing other members being able to use it. Should be monitored but appreciate it’s difficult.

Spin Class
I thought I give my experience at Pure Gym Croydon. Overall facilities at the gym are great. I booked myself on a spin class which was held by an instructor called Darnell. Well what a session Darnell was very pro active his classes are very high intense but thoroughly enjoyable, the music went very well with the class but overall I had a great experience and have decided I will be booking more sessions because of this young man. I never knew spin classes could be so fun. Excellent instructor.

Awesome Instructors
I have been a member for over three years and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The sense of community spirit is wonderful, and the instructors are highly professional, proactive, inspiring, and motivating. I particularly appreciate my sessions with Paul, Scott, Nana, David, Elijah, and Darnell, and I am grateful for their leadership and fitness knowledge. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a positive and supportive fitness environment.
