There is a bad odeur of sewers in the gym. Also the floor area is far too small.

A disappointing and worrying experience …
I have been a member of the Waterloo branch since it first opened as a SoHo gym , not that it makes any difference or matters, but the studio has always been a very important space. The studio was not only used for classes (Yoga class, core classes , hit classes and so on ) but also for training and stretching sessions by EVERYONE. Not just a studio but a place where EVERY MEMBER could stretch or train away from the heavy weights and the hardcore gym customers making the experience enjoyable for people of all levels of fitness.
I am puzzled by the need for a Women Workout Space . Is it for a safety reasons? Because that makes me question the need of a safe zone in a public place. Is it not safe for women to work out at your gyms ? Wouldn’t be better, if that is the case , to tackle the problem instead of segregating women into a space? As a gay man should I feel unsafe? We could go down that rabbit hole and try and create a safe space for every minority or vulnerable group. Are you going to do that ? Many members are disappointed at the changes as I am sure many women would be very pleased with it . I guess you cannot accommodate everyone. Personally I am looking to alternative options. I definitely want to be in a gym where women and man don’t get separated. It doesn’t even sound right . Maybe a gym where everyone is respected and respectful, a gym where any gender or sexual orientation or colour or nationality can workout together without the need to have a …. Space .
Maybe while you are renovating you could change the 3 wall clocks that have been hanging on the wall broken for the last few months… just a suggestion.
I thank you for your time
Kind regards
Pietro Ianni

A problematic change looms!
Good refurbishment of showers in the changing rooms.
An excellent space architecturally, under the railway arches; spacious and clean.
HOWEVER, they have recently announced that they are converting an open 'studio' area into a 'Women Only' space, ie fully off-limits to biological men.
I will be thus losing access to approximately 1/6 of total available floor space in which to work out, but I shall be paying the *same membership price* as women who will have exclusive access to this new area. I have been a member here for several years, and am disappointed in this development. I am researching to see how this may breach the Equality Act of 2010, and strongly encourage any fellow members with a legal background to explore this.
PG Waterloo has fine staff, good equipment, and is convenient. I would dislike to see it mired in a controversy of its own making.

PureGym UK at London Waterloo offers a great workout experience with well-maintained equipment and natural lighting. It's clean and never overcrowded, making it an enjoyable place to exercise. However, the showers could use improvement, especially their temperature, which might not suit everyone. Overall, a solid gym for day or night workouts.

Set up difficult, once inside it's great
Getting set up to walk in was difficult as there was poor internet for the app to work. I gave up. I hit the buzzer and staff immediately helped me out. Glad they were there. Got a 3 day pass while in London from Seattle.
Inside, there is everything a gym rat could ask for. Clean and well maintained, and not too crowded.
