LOUGHBOROUGH PUREGYM IS DANGEROUSLY BUSY NOW
Exceptionally busy at Loughborough PureGym now - the only time that you can go to the gym with less than 120 people is at 11am-1pm.
If you go past 4pm, you'll be greeted with over 200 people crammed into a small room. There's not enough equipment for this demand, yet i've just seen a guy in a billboard advertising the gym?
The dedicated cycle room is almost never used and could help ease the overloaded pressure of having a quarter of a thousand people in a small space at once. I've been at this gym 151 times (according to the app) and not once seen the room used.
A very dangerous gym, and one that i feel quite pressurised in when i've ACTUALLY got onto a machine.
Thinking of cancelling as the members of staff don't seem to care about my safety concerns or the overall running of their gym.
EDIT: See how they have no interest in actually dealing with this issue? There's a whole room that isn't used more than 4 times a week and we're all crammed into a small area?

Please be aware due to the situation of our gyms it isn't always possible to extend the site itself, however, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities where possible, so please keep an eye out for updates. Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. If you don’t want to have money taken out of your account every month even if you want to cancel don’t bother. The cancellation process is long and they try to hide it as much as possible, whilst sign up is quick and easy. Spoke with a representative who just quoted T&Cs to me, basically talking like a robot. Terrible experience, won’t be using again.

Members are able to cancel their memberships anytime or freeze their membership for up to 3 months (in a 12 month period), via the PureGym app or website, on the members area. All cancellations must be actioned 4 working days before the next payment is due: https://www.puregym.com/help-centre/freezing-or-ending/how-do-i-cancel-my-direct-debit-monthly-membership/.
We do not offer refunds outside of the 14-day cooling off period, nor do we offer refunds for non usage.
If you wish to expand on the issues that you have encountered with our Member Services team, please contact them at member.services@puregym.com or via any social media DM, and they will be happy to discuss this further.
In the meantime, we sincerely wish you the best in your future fitness goals.

Machines are awful
Machines are awful, making it risky for injuries.. cable machines are awful, resistance profiles are different for each cable even on the same machine, making it hard to do chest flys and stuff on the cable

Great gym.
Opens 24 hours... Excellent variety of classes... Equipments are excellent, changing rooms and toilets are most of the time clean.

Loughborough Pure Gym is getting…
Loughborough Pure Gym is getting worse…unbearable heat, overcrowding and lack of adequate equipment, dirty equipment, smelly women’s changing room but they do have great friendly staff. How much more can I stand…getting very close to leaving unless things change!!!

No staff member available for an incident
My seventeen year old daughter visited Pure Gym in Loughborough on 3rd April and she was followed around by a twenty year old male who after engaging in conversation gave her a hug and inappropriately touched her bottom. Firstly this should not happen in the first place but it was early afternoon and there was no member of staff she could find to report it to. She has no idea if the male was a member or not or had followed her in. You have a duty of care to all members and not having an available member of staff on duty potentially puts liability on you should something happen. You do have CCTV but you should have a member of staff present as these times.
In this instance you have a vulnerable female in what should be a safe space for women and girls and a predatory male who is either a member or not entering the gym and ended up with sexual touching, Without an ability to report on the spot due to the lack of a staff member. She went back later to report and said it would be passed onto management. She should of had support and the ability to report at the time of the incident.

Nice and easy
Nice and easy - just booked a day pass but all worked really well.
Gym was good and nice range of kits but it was rammed and constantly waiting for the kit I needed which was frustrating.

I honestly love PureGym
I honestly love PureGym! As part of my New Years Resolution I decided to start going to the gym, and PureGym had a very good discount. Going for the first time was a bit nerve wracking, but they have training plans for members on the app (which was great as a beginner), and they have classes as well for multiple things. This gym is a true gem!!

Great gym all round
Really easy to join online, friendly staff, clean changing rooms, so many classes to choose from including early morning classes, welcoming feeling in the classes and great value for money.

When you signed up and paid your first month membership and joining fee a few days after joining, this was to secure your membership and the promotional rate at the time. This payment covers the first month when the gym opens meaning you won't pay again until a month after the gym opens.

Best gym I’ve been to 🎀
Best gym I have been to changing rooms are cleaned regularly toilets aren’t a mess the staff the are there are super kind only probably is bumping into ur uncle 🤣 the yoga / stretch room is really nice the classes are great really nice teachers totally recommend!! ❤️
