Great place
This is my second week of going to pure gym and I have to say its been really good!! There is no one staring and judging you like in other gyms I've tried in the past!
Hoping that going to the gym is going to help big time with my weight loss...So far so good ☺️

Treena in Merthyr Tydfil gym is great
Treena in Merthyr Tydfil gym is wonderful with my husband who has Parkinson's and she runs an hour session for Parkinson's sufferers. Gets them moving about and gives them a physiscal workout and also stimulates the brian. Wonerdful

My experience of puregym was really good I have parkinsons and puregym at the time hooked up with movers and shakers to offer free yrs membership to train in there gym..being retired after 45yrs work through ill health was hard mentally but this was a great outlet for me to get me focused and back on track. Puregym were great inductions and help was there when needed..the fact that if I was having a bad night I could just get at 3 in the morning and train 👌 yesterday i reinstated my membership on a low rate monthly plan. Basically to see my grandkids grow up..so I keep my journey going with puregym at 61

Good customer experience
I started PureGym UK 01/6/2025 no joining fee and had a 3 months special offer £19.99 this includes free drinks/all classes allowing flexibility to book in advance/free use of all equipment showers etc
I hadn’t been to a gym in years that first time I walked through the year greeted by a friendly face other people in the gym also are friendly and willing to share there experiences.
With PureGym! There is no hard selling it’s very much a self serve gym you can come and go when you please.
There are tailored classes for those who want this
Very clean
Staff friendly & approachable
General people who use this early mornings tend to be more my age but from 16/17yr old to 80’s age is not an issue your greeted with the same friendly staff etc
The swipe in/out entry easy to use again all self serve
Showers and changing room facilities and safe and clean
I really like it I wish the membership stayed at £19.99 I go upto £27.99 it’s a big hike but I understand running & staffing costs have to be factored in.
Overall it’s a nice place to get toned/fitter/ healthier whatever you’re looking for in a safe friendly environment!!

Lovely, clean facility with a welcoming atmosphere. The members are friendly, and the staff, especially Treena and Adam, are always helpful and approachable. The step classes always sound energetic and fun, and there’s a great sense of positivity from members as they leave. Keep it up, PureGym Merthyr team!

My experience has been nothing but…
My experience has been nothing but positive. Right from the initial induction Treena has instilled confidence in myself. This has opened up new avenues for me and I am hoping it enables me to become more mobile and gain back independence. The world begins to feel like my oyster.

I love this gym because it’s very close…
I love this gym because it’s very close to me since I live in troed. One other thing I like about this gym it’s that it’s 24/7 and you can go anytime during the day or night

Fantastic First Experience
My first experience at Pure Gym was fantastic! The atmosphere was welcoming, the gym was tidy, and the friendly staff guided me through everything from arrival to departure. I felt comfortable, motivated, and ready to come back!

Great staff experience
I had a brilliant chat with 2 of the staff in the Merthyr gym today. They were very informed and knowledgeable. Really easy to approach. Friendly and happy to answer my questions and offer advice on training, even directing me to online training plans. So nice being able to go to a gym where the staff are approachable and welcoming.
