I went to PureGym for a few years while doing military prep, i loved It, the equipment gets the job done gets you the pump you need and desire, the staff are nice and you can’t complain about anything unless your in at busy times

Brilliant range of excersize equipment
Brilliant range of excersize equipment. Nice and spaced out. Some of the equipment was broken- rowing machine foot strap broken so not able to sit together with another member. Also another improvement could be more lighter free weights in the main weighted area.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.
Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

I have learning disabilities so…
I have learning disabilities so struggle going into public places without becoming overwhelmed and struggle being around people i dont know or groups, the fact it's 24 hour and the app tells you how many people are currently in your gym are a massive help, not been to a gym in a year because of my disabilities but going during the night during quiet periods allowed me to do what I like.
Still feel overwhelmed and intimidated but after 5 to 10 min with my headphones in its like no one else is there, 10/10 definitely recommend 👌

Closed despite saying it was 24/7…
Closed despite saying it was 24/7 online - apparently closed at 4pm. Only clue as to when it’s closed is a sign on the door…waste of a journey and fuel to get there.

Nice friendly gym
Nice friendly gym. Most of the equipment is in good working order although a few treadmills are out of order on a number of visits to gym but doesn’t pose a problem as they have plenty working ones.
Love the functional area just wish it was a bit bigger especially when a few are training in that area.

Gone down hill
The levels of cleanliness have plummeted - really should be better. Also, a lot of the staff have left so not as friendly as it used to be.

Great Gym
Puregym is a reasonably priced gym which comes with quite a lot of varied equipment - great for all applications.
Staff are friendly enough and there are plenty of classes (and a good variety too).
Equipment is reasonably new and of good quality.
Toilets are kept clean & tidy (the mens anyway) and the gyn itself is normaly tidy. There are individuals at this gym who leave weights around and dont put them away. Not an issue with the gym itself more the clientele.
The only drawback i can think of is if equipment ends up being damaged, it can take a while for it to be repaired.

This is the most untidy gym I have ever…
This is the most untidy gym I have ever been to. The etiquette is terrible. People leaving fully stacked bars after finishing deadlifts is very common. I've never seen any staff members tidying up or enforcing the rules. Personal trainers often walking around with a coffee when with a client. I attended one spin class and the dial on the bike didn't work. That wasn't a problem as the lights got turned off then apparently it turned into a disco at that point anyway. Style over substance.

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this.

Well Equipped Gym, With Pleasant Atmosphere
The atmosphere is pleasant. The equipment is modern and available at the times I visit. Air quality is good. And the membership price suits my budget.
