This is a very friendly gym
This is a very friendly gym, staff always willing to help and make you feel welcome. A great environment to just be yourself and has definately helped my confidence grow. Lots of different equipment and i enjoy the classes that are suitable for all levels, i would recommend this gym with no hesitation.

I really love PureGym – the price, the equipment, and the overall atmosphere are excellent, and I often recommend it to my friends. One idea that could make it even better would be to have a dedicated room with a big screen TV showing guided stretching and mobility exercises on repeat. Since I can’t always match my schedule with the live stretching classes, this would give more flexibility and allow members to follow the exercises correctly anytime, even without a coach, thanks

Great qtty and good quality of …
Great qtty and good quality of equipments... very nice rooms... but need to provide alcohol sprayers to clean the seats in between the users.

Poor Admin Procedure
Getting into your gym was a real pain using the QR codes as shown on the door entrance. Trying g to get hold of a member of Staff by the buzzer was a joke. 1/2 hr today and 20 mins yesterday

Awful and so dirty
The toilets, showers and changing room are disgusting despite staff running in and signing the cleaning rota without even checking. People are sat on all the equipment on their phone so couldn't use anything in the hour I was there. Would not recommend. Total waste of time

Unfortunately, we are unable to monitor the usage of phones in our gyms, however if people are sitting on equipment we would strongly advise approaching a member of staff on the floor who will be able to help further.

I like it more before how was arranged the equipment . And we need hip thrust machine as well instead of 5 leg ones

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment are fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. Sometimes we do need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym.
Great value
Great price. Good equipment. Friendly staff.
My only real complaint is that the gym is a bit dirty (dust, hair, etc. on the floor), and there aren't enough stations providing towels to wipe down the machines after use. If you're really into cleanliness and hygeine, perhaps try another. Otherwise, I'd recommend it!

Complaint - Northampton Gym - Poor customer service - Tech issues - No staff
I am writing to make a complaint as it is been a vicious circle if trying to resolve the issue.
My young brother has been a gym member for almost 2 years.
I have been paying his membership via DD.
2 months ago he suddenly lost access to his online account.
He tried to recover it but unsuccessfully. First, we thought it was a glitch.
We tried contacting via FB chat, they sent him to gym, went to gym multiple times couldn't get someone to help even during supposedly manned hours! No one was available on multiple occassions.
Finally, he got to speak to someone only to be told he is no longer on the system and there is nothing they can do.
In the email response membership team suggested to speak to them through the account (when I told them there is no access to the account anymore and he was removed from the system (facepalm).

Due to GDPR we can only discuss the membership with the named account holder. Member Services can be contacted via email or through socials.
However if a suspension has been added in club this would need to be removed by the management team direct or if payment details need to be verified this would also need to be in person with the Gym Manager present.
You can book an appointment with them direct via the club email or any further questions please ask your brother to contact Member Services alongside the email address, date of birth and postcode. Thanks, PureGym

great staff and equipment
Manager gave my group a free tour, which really helped to convince all 5 of us to join up. She was incredibly friendly and a huge part of why I eventually chose it instead of other local gyms. the signing up process was fairly easy and took minimal fuss

Great team
I hate going to the gym but have always struggled with my weight so I have no choice but to go. Having a gym that I can go to on the move and when I visit different towns and cities is brilliant and really helps with my weight management. But I love my home gym at Northampton Central. They have some incredible staff that make you feel cared for and looked after at the gym - Mainly PT Gary Hall and Rhys Aitchison. Even if you don’t have PT with them they are always helping and looking out for people at the gym and their classes are awesome.
There are also a lot of regular and friendly faces that create a nice environment to train in and I have to say it’s better here than at some other locations that I visit regularly and don’t get the same from staff … not even close. So a big thanks to the team at NC!! If you are looking for a gym and feel nervous about your choice just go there!!
