Decent overall for the price, however:
Gym ceiling has mould in the corners
There’s barely any hooks and tricep training ropes and people queue for them
Not enough cable machines for the amount of members in the gym
Barely any cleaning stations

No frills
Could do with Sky news/sport
Could do with staff applying rules which they never have ie Bags in Gym area
Could have relax area with chairs and drink machine etc

Like it, but.....
Been a member a few years now and like it, just one issue for me. They've replaced the big thick mats in their recently extended and improved stretch area with smaller, narrower and thinner mats which are next to useless to let you stretch properly. Reason given is the big ones we're the wrong brand, so customers suffer because of some ridiculous corporate decision.

Good gym but bad smell
Good gym but there’s always an awful smell in the front left corner of the dumbbell rack it’s always there and smells like it Feces, I thought it was a one off but had been there for weeks now. Other than that the facilities are good and not a bad gym

A good gym but equipment downstairs i.e…
A good gym but equipment downstairs i.e Cardio machines are awful and about broke. Water is warm and pressure is awful for drinking.

Brilliant management
The Manager is always happy to help with your questions! He listens even if he can’t do anything about it. I wish the classes l like starts 6 pm though as l am always fighting against the traffic.

It’s fine when not too busy
It’s fine when not too busy. When busy it gets frustrating when others sit on machines for ages just scrolling their phones. There should be some protocol around this. Also, the balance of machinery isn’t great. Loads for arms & shoulders, only one abdominal crunch, one leg press on the first floor.

Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym.
