The men's shower area only has 6 showers. However only 2 are working. 3 of the shower cubicles are blocked off and another is broken. This has been like this for several months.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our facilities to ensure that it's fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym.

Friendly and approachable staff and clients. A good atmosphere for working out in. Some equipment has seen better days but is still fit for purpose and gets the job done

We know that everyone likes to workout at different times whether that be due to work commitments or due to personal preference; being open 24/7 means we can provide for everyone, anytime, anywhere!
We do our very best to provide a wide range of classes, so that members have a variety of ways to workout and also do so, in a short amount of time, as we understand some members are crunched for time or just prefer shorter (but effective) workouts.

blue card discount
It was somewhat easy signing up online but its annoying you cannot walk to a desk and speak to someone and have a look around before you make a decision to pay for a gym you have not seen. Also the blue light discount stated 10% discount after the first months discount however this was not applied to the contract and you are forced to sign the dd agreement of full price

Members are entitled to a refund within the first 14 days of the membership, and you can head down to the gym between staffed hours, press the assist button outside the doors and a member of staff will give you a tour .

Great space but lack of care from some members
Great space but the lack of care from members is very disappointing. Some of the other gym users smelt of weed and any weights were just left laying on the floor.
As far as equipment goes, it was a 6/10. It was decent and enough to get a good workout in but nothing special.

It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this.
However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this.

A little smelly also no exercise mats on second floor I went in the studio to pick one up I was told women class get out why not just put some outside the studio problem solved.

My pin wasn't sent in the time scale stated. I tried contacting and doing as advised on your website but still nothing. I paid for a day pass as I have limited time being a working single mother. I would like a refund as I am unhappy with the service

I attend a combat class on a Monday…
I attend a combat class on a Monday with Ian Hall. Really enjoy his class. Great class to participate in on a Monday morning. Class is full of enthusiasm and great energy. Would highly recommend Ian’s classes I have attended them at other gyms where Ian as worked

My personal experience…
The experience I have in PureGym in Oldham is amazing, The staff are really helpful and you can have a laugh with them. I like how there is a lift as well so I can use the upstairs as well.Being in a wheelchair is quite difficult but PureGym in Oldham is very accessible. My only concern is I feel like there needs to be more machines for disabled people to use.
