Great Gym
Great Gym! Always clean and tidy with lots of variety. I never have to wait for a machine- but then again, I go really early or really late. 2 hours free parking which helps a lot and if you go after 6, it's free anyway.

Great selection of classes and…
Great selection of classes and instructors. Recently the gym organised a halloween themed evening - the time and effort the team put in was incredible and made for a brilliant evening of classes.

Gym is clean and tidy
Gym is clean and tidy. While equipment is starting to look tired I understand a referb is scheduled for 2022 so not long to go. Free 2hr parking is a bonus as there is no off street parking. On my visits The gym has not been to busy and I find the Puregym app a big help in deciding when to attend the gym. There are plenty of cleaning stations dotted about the gym and normally staff on hand if you have an issue.

Convenient opening hours and a good selection of equipment. However, more Covid cleaning stations are required to encourage visitors to clean down machines after use.

It’s a shame to rate Pure gym two…
It’s a shame to rate Pure gym two stars. I normally visit the Bromsgrove one which is fantastic well looked after clean gym. I went to the Redditch one and it’s a massive let down. No pride is taken in this particular location. The equipment is worn and frankly looks dirty. You need to invest some money here and renew some of this. I would also massively step up the cleaning here. It feels grubby.
People note this is not the normal it used to be a nice location but it’s changed. I would not return to Redditch and will continue to travel a bit further and use Bromsgrove.

I think the Gym and the staff at Redditch have done a great job during the Pandemic , the measures taken were great . Well done .
Just a pity some of the ‘guests’ didn’t stick to guidelines and had a total disregard for other gym users .

Poor layout
First visit since holiday. Hate the new layout of kit: it feels like we’re on top of each other. Way too cramped around arm curl, triceps, chest press etc. Really not good

Love this gym so much
Love this gym so much. It has been a lifeline for me. Staff are so friendly, as are the other gym goers. Don’t feel self-conscious when working out and always someone there to help.

I think it would be better if there…
I think it would be better if there were members of staff that occasionally (maybe 1 day a week) would work late in order to be there and help all of the new members who are anxious
I regularly go to the gym post 10-11pm and the place always has new people who don’t know the machines, what they are doing or what to expect from the gym. They DONT want to go in the daytime out of fear, yet they pay the same price as the others but are missing out on the customer service
Several times I’ve had to help people with machines, show them around, talk about car parking and general enquiries because there isn’t anyone there to help these people. They are the customers that should be made to feel comfortable in order to keep them paying a monthly subscription and they are completely forgotten about

Our PT's are usually only around in the gyms between 6am-8pm as this depends on PT availability.
