I enjoyed my first session but was…
I enjoyed my first session but was disappointed that they didn’t have personal trainers even though we saw one as he had a T-shirt saying personal trainer on it also no padlocks on lockers so didn’t want to leave my personal stuff in there

What I like about the gym is the following, few mirrors. No TV screens, top quality equipment. And people there to exercise, not pose.

First time with my daughter didn’t like…
First time with my daughter didn’t like the fact u didn’t get help when trying to obtain a day pass it stressed me out .i had just finished work in a very stressful job and like to distress at the gym but found pure gym made me very stressed before i go in .tbh id like a refund for me and my daughter. As I found the experience awful .i will stay at my gym thanks. ,I was thinking of joining but maybe not .

Need some variety please
A really great gym, friendly atmosphere and good mix of equipment plus the staff are genuinely a great team. A key part of the gym for me is the classes on offer however now looking possibly elsewhere as the same instructor ( although a lovely guy & a good trainer ) does the morning classes after 9 and for months now it’s been the exact same music each class coupled with exactly the same routine with no variation week to week. This instructor only did one of the days and felt I couple cope with the one repeated session but now does all the classes. Whilst described as Legs, bum & tum or pump you end up again with the same music…. For the love of God mix it up a little or vary the trainers taking the morning classes.

Value for money, not really
You should be more honest and upfront with your pricing policy.
When I got to use the facility for the first time, the spin bikes were all broken.
The unlimited sports water was limited!?!
Could not hear my music in my own headphones.
No lockers - no one mentioned i would need to bring a padlock.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.
Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

PT session with Adhinio is highly recommended. As a more mature female he gave me the confidence to get back in the gym. Puregym caters for all age groups and abilities so I feel really comfortable.

PureGym Rushden
PureGym Rushden is a clean, friendly safe space to train, no matter your size or previous experience. The knowledge and support of staff is fantastic, in particular Rachel Benton. She has a wealth of experience, especially working with women over 40. Her classes are unique and motivational and she is always happy to help with the challenges that come with physical and emotional barriers to exercise and confidence. I highly recommended this Gym and all who work in it. This is the first time I have stuck with exercise for so long and enjoyed it!

I got a parking ticket for being at the…
I got a parking ticket for being at the gym too long and it hasn’t been resolved, I’ve had no help no guidance and no initiative to sort it out

We are sorry to hear that you received a parking fine whilst using the gym. The car park is operated by a third party company in which we do not have any affiliation with. Therefore, we are unfortunately unable to cancel such tickets. Information regarding parking is available on the home page of any PureGym which offers parking. The correct parking procedures must be followed, to avoid a parking ticket. We would always advise that you appeal the fine and explain the circumstances. If you get in touch with Member Services, we can also provide you with an appeal document which will be an official letter from PureGym Head Office, stating that you are a member of PureGym and your attendance log for the date in question, will also be provided as proof to show you were in the gym. If your appeal is rejected, we would suggest submitting a case with POPLA. POPLA are an independent appeals process which works with the Ombudsman Service. They investigate whether this fine was issued correctly in accordance with the terms and condition of the car park; whilst reviewing evidence provided in the appeal. On the rejection notice, there should be a 10-digit verification code, and you will then be able to submit an appeal with POPLA via their website: http://www.popla.co.uk/poplaappealprocess. Although we cannot guarantee they will cancel the fine, we do hope for a positive outcome.

Too busy most of the time
I’ve been a member here since it opened. Sadly, it’s just got far too busy. Decent equipment, just not enough of it. Extremely busy and noisy most of the time. I’ve just been there on a Monday afternoon and given up. There’s no point. Trying to do anything takes so long. A quick hour in there is now impossible. Evenings and Saturday mornings are ridiculous. Can’t access any of the machines. Free weights area far too crowded. They only have two standard upright exercise bikes. It seems like they’ve taken on too many members for the size of the gym.

Very busy and well equipped
The staff member was friendly and motivated. I think the intro sessions should be done at a quieter time. It was extremely busy and noisy so found it difficult to hear and follow what was being taught. As an older lady that hasn't attended a gym in many years I felt I needed a more one to one introduction. It felt very daunting for me. I will try to go at a quieter time next time.
