Great value
There is a lot of equipment and in the mornings it is relatively easy to choose the equipment I want to use. It’s also great value.

I wanted to take a look around before…
I wanted to take a look around before committing to taking out membership, and was given a warm welcome by the assistant manager who gave me a well informed tour. I was impressed by how spacious and clean the gym was, and how well equipped. The equipment appeared clean and well maintained, and overall I felt comfortable there. Needless to say I joined up.

We have recently made slight changes to this area, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. By law, we have a requirement to provide a certain amount of fresh air based on occupancy levels, and our ventilation system increases and decreases at different times throughout the day and night, making sure we meet these requirements and provide good air movement around the gyms. These levels are based on size of the gym, and occupancy levels, and are regularly monitored.
All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes.
If you believe there may be an issue, please speak to a member of the gym team who will be able to assist further.

Very Poor experience
I've been a member of PureGym Solihull for quite some time, and I feel compelled to share my recent experience regarding the unexpected increase in monthly fees. While the club promised enhancements to the gym facilities, I've noticed that the reality falls short of their claims.
First, the lack of advance notice, which PureGym incorrectly claimed they did, about the fee hike was quite disappointing. Transparency is key in any membership-based service, and I believe it's essential for members to be informed ahead of time, especially when it comes to costs.
Moreover, the so-called enhancements seem minimal at best. The equipment, which should be a priority for any fitness center, is unfortunately showing signs of wear and tear. Many machines are not well maintained.
While I appreciate the efforts to improve the club, I expected much more for the increased fees. It's crucial for members to feel they are getting value for their money, and right now, I'm not feeling that way. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and prioritizes proper maintenance and communication in the future.
Over, I can't recommend PureGym at this time until significant improvements are made.

Friendly staff
I would recommend making use of the current free 3 day pass and booking a gym induction. The member of staff will demonstrate how to use the equipment and will make sure that you are executing the movement properly and safely.
The company does also sell day passes or weekly if you are interested in trialling out this gym before you commit to a membership.

I like using Puregym
I like using Puregym. It's always clean, everyone is friendly. I can ask the staff for help if I need it. I'm an older lady doing strength training to help my fybromyalgia. Today was a bit busy, but I managed to use all the machines I wanted too, it was a little frustrating as a couple of young ladies where just sat at the machines using their phones and not exercising. But I didn't let it spoil my session.

The gym is a joke they banned me for…
The gym is a joke they banned me for training my partner , due to them not liking that i can train people better than themselves. There personal trainers are a joke that dont what there doing. Taking clients money and not giving them what the pay for . Stay Away from there !!!!

Only Pure Gym licensed personal trainers are permitted to train members in the Gym unless granted express permission in writing from PureGym Central support.
Anyone else undertaking members' training will be asked to leave the gym immediately or risk membership suspension.

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.
